How off do you want it to be? Cos I have been thinking. Why do so my people who retire receive a carriage clock, or a gold watch, or some other time keeping implement? Don't you think it's weird? Surely by retirement age you have enough time keeping equipment?!?

guys, we already have a "Never mind the topic" thread,which, in my opinion,is a great addition to bedlam, as we have received a fair bit of flack for mixing and matching different discussions all over bedlam. We've even lost several of our older members due to the fact.

I agree with this topic, in that for me, as a bloke who's left thailand some two, three! years ago already; That which I miss a lot, is the idle banter on every and any topic under the sun with different people who all have something in common.

Bedlam is the niche of thaivisa that allows me to do that.

I've many times alluded to thaivisa as a metaphore for a local. Somewhat famously perhaps, as I've seen that same metaphore used by others, since.

Here is where I can come to meet up with buddies and chat away about all things sundry.

Bedlam is that to the power of a 1000.

Yet we shouldn't hijack every thread.

When I'm down the local, YES every topic under the sun willbe discussed. And when there is a serious topic going on, it's fine to have the odd oneliner to relax the mood, But if somebody comes in with bullsh1t he's usually ignored.
