A BRITISH MAN IS STABBED WHILE TRYING TO STOP A FIGHT IN PATONG

"Thai and foreign good Samaritans helped bring the British man who was injured to the ambulance on May 18, 2024.
PHUKET – A fight broke out between a foreigner and a group of Thai teenagers in Soi Bangla Street, a famous entertainment area in Patong, Kathu District, Phuket. A British man who tried to intervene was injured by a knife on his left rib.

The incident took place on the roadside, close to a convenience store where the injured person, Mr. Charlie, a British national, ran to seek help. Good Samaritans and another foreigner who happened to be at the scene provided initial first aid. Afterward, officials transported him to Patong Hospital.

You'll have to explain that one  steven...      the original question was quite clear. 

 

If the roles were reversed...  we'd see this news everywhere...   But we we are not.

....  There would be PBS, ThaiRath, Coconuts, Thaiger articles...     but what do we have when its a foreigner stabbed by a Thai ???...  one article, linked by a forum member.

After roo860's second post - perhaps this is now getting the media attention it deserves.....

 

...  will we see similar netizen outrage to that when a foreigner attacks a Thai ?

I am saddened by the amount of violence now in Thailand .......:sad:

My wife got attacked  on Friday evening................long story.

I guess it is not just Thailand in Australia we had 6 knife attacks in 1 week
