Good to see. Hopefully he gets an MRI scan as slow bleeds on the brain can take a while to get serious.

Interesting that the guards still appear to be having ta go at them as they are leaving. As if the intitial beatdown was not enough. Real scumbags.

Absolute savages. Completely emboldened as well.

It's a shame they aren't pressing charges, and the Thai legal system means someone needs to make a complaint. There should be something in place that means security thugs can't just beat tourists to a pulp and then get away with it if they don't want to press charges and just want to leave and forget about it.

The guards will probably feel proud about what they did, outnumbering the foreingers and using weapons.

Anyway. If you pull out the nail in your foot, you could move/talk forward, not only in circles.

Hmmh, better to have a nail in the foot than in a head. But hey, that would mean "you nailed it.😂

Well here is another video showing them to be a bit wobbly, but fine. This does look like just after the incident.

also interesting is what appears to be a policeman seen looking on and not assisting as bargirls attempt to de escalate the situation and pacify 2 of the goons from doing further farang damage.

Only low life cowards kick people when they are down.

I don't think the guy who did he kicking is hoping to get  a good citizen of the year award.

Moral to the story:    Pay up and avoid fights in  Thailand bars.

Maybe wanted back in the UK. Overstay? Or figured they got what they deserved?

Looks like the Business Security Act is it. Meanwhile, there is something in place to help ensure tourist louts pay their bills and avoid hitting Thai security gurads in aggressive confrontations.

It was 3 vs 3, wasn't it? And the foreigners had counted on their bigger penises. The Thais defintely more than equalized the size advantage.

If its not beating the patrons its human trakficking.

Whole soi needs to be bulldozed.

Just because you don't approve of Soi 6 doesn't mean the whole Soi should be bulldozed.

Exactly.  The answer to your question by the way (at one of the TAT's many junket trips and conferences), was to spend millions of Baht publicising that in BS magazines and websites that Thailand is a 'quality tourist destination' and then ensure PBS, BP, KSE, NT, etc all regurgitate that 'news'.

And it hasn't worked. Maybe the problem is that the Brit tabloids constantly play up the, ah, sexier side of Thailand to appeal to the prurience of average louts living in their council estates. Thailand should sue the tabloids and win the way the Royals do!

Meanwhile in a publication not allowed to quote here, Thailand has dropped 10 places in the WEF World Tourist Index - mainly due to poor services, infratstructure, safety and corruption.

Nonetheless, the tourism numbers continue to increase. But I agree that support hasn't kept up with the numbers.

Self-awareness is a promising, first step.
Sometimes, you need “out standers” to realize the own misery.
Your reflex, about nails in “a” head, is also a promising development.
It's never too late!

Obsolete to talk to the “negotiator”.
The answers are mostly 1–2 content free sentences of stammered nonsense.
