thank you for that. what this shows in fact is that this guy isnt after the money, but rather the power. which, is even worse, considering that he can afford to bribe, corrupt and manipulate anyone who would dare stand against him. normal people would retire and enjoy life. power hungry fiends just cant get enough... its always more more more

Upon further investigation, it was found that his wife Sirinadda Hakparn owned stocks in five companies worth over 10.17 million baht.

On September 26, 2023, he told the media, "As for the source of the money, I can answer where it all comes from: By receiving an inheritance from my wife's father when he died. How many times do people have to be told. Big Joke does not depend on his salary. He, and his wife, both come from wealthy families his wife inherited billions from her father. He joined the police as a vocation, not for the money. That is why they fear him so much, he can't be corrupted by bribery

Yes he was from a wealthy family

Everything you say is pure supposition with no evidence to back it up. each time someone demonstrates that your current supposition is wrong, you make up another supposition which is even less realistic. I reckon your next supposition will be that he is corrupt because he is an alien from outer space🤣😂🤣😂

Her father died, her inheritance was over billion Baht. She's a qualified doctor, but runs a cosmetics business.

One of the top Police Officers is on social media criticising the PM and threatening to take him to NACC.

The PM himself is facing a Court case against him that could result in him being forced to resign.

The popular vote winning MFP Party was not allowed to form Government.

The Leader of the MFP is facing being sacked and banned from politics for 10 years (they tried to ban him for a media shares technicality).

A past PM has returned to the country with a slap on the wrist,  and is now working behind the scenes doing who knows what.

And so many other political and economic issues are infesting Thailand's leaders as they squabble for power and control post Junta.

All while the economy is slowly falling down all around them.

And the Military is quietly watching and waiting to see what happens.

 

Who knows where this will all lead. Will there be a civil revolt if Pita is sacked and banned. Will the coalition fall apart if Srettha is sacked. Will the Red and Yellow teams start fighting again. What is going to happen if this all goes to pieces yet again - another military coup?

 

Is it any wonder the economy is in tatters and foreign investment is not returning to Thailand. 

Meanwhile they are pushing for another few million cheap Charlies from China, India etc. to come and visit with some success.

But the local tourism business are telling the PM to his face "Where are all the Europeans? They spend more money here".

And the Thai Tax Department is making threats about taxing the money 400-500K Expats who bring billions into Thailand every year.

Meanwhile the PM is talking about building a multi-billion baht racetrack for the F1 racing.

After all that talking about a cross country bypass for shipping to avoid Singapore went nowhere.  

And so many other 'pie in the sky' hare-brained ideas and brain pharrts.

 

Thailand is in tatters. The current leadership is incapable of ruling for the benefit of the Thai people and is not capable of making rational decisions and developing coherent economic strategies.  At least the Junta had some control and direction.  Maybe the new Senate will offer a political platform for some sort of rational leadership in this country.  Maybe Thaksin knew this would happen and is preparing to pick up the pieces when it all falls apart.  This country needs a Leader - someone who will take charge and organise/control the minions and steer the ship in the right direction - and run over anyone trying to get in his/her way.

I guess some folks are aware of his early history destroying infrastructure so that people in Thonburi had no choice but to buy very expensive water from his water trucks. Such a pleasant man.

 

His sons still have a lot to answer for.

 

My own son, when at uni, worked as a barman in one of the big bars in the radio city complex.  Owner of the bar where my son worked gave regular pep talks to his staff early evening. Always mentioned 'if Chalerm's sons or their thug minders appear listen carefully to what they say and serve exactly what they ask for and move back, never ask for money, never try to engage them in conversation'.

 

There was an incident when a young barman bumped slightly into one of the thug minders on the busy stairs, no damage done in any way, the young barman apologised but was quickly grabbed and his hands held behind his back by 2 thugs whilst another thug and a son beat him up. 

 

My son came home from work early morning, he woke me up and told me what had happened. He had never experienced / seen violence and it shook him. My son was a strong rugby player but this experience really shook him.

 

I guess about 12:00 am he called the club office and resigned and quickly hung up. Son asked me if I would please increase his monthly allowance (which I had offered to do several times previous to this incident) so that he didn't need to work. 

 

Why would anybody miss Chalerm.

He may well be one of the better ones and I have no interest in debating whether his family has wealth or not; or where it came from if they have?

 

However, what I will say is that you are wearing extremely rose tinted glasses. I won’t disclose on here exactly how I know but I do.
 

What I will tell you though is that he has been connected to the horologist from a very young age and therefore he was never going to be your average Joe. If you doubt this last bit, just remind yourself which office previously he has always been transferred back to whenever he has been taken off active duty?

Nope, not at all, there are multiple Generals vying for the position each year which is for one year usually due there being some kind of convention that you are eligible at around age 59 it seems. Hapkarn has outside patronage apparently and this is upsetting things.
