Muffins

Featured Replies

I went in McDonald's a couple of weeks back , ( first time in years )and had one of these . A lightly toasted Muffin , Sausage and Egg .  and apart from the Cheese it was half decent.

My question is , where can I buy the Muffin from ?

I have tried a couple of sellers online but their Muffins are nowhere near as soft as the ones used at McDonald's.

Matter of fact one of them was so hard I had to bin the rest.

The muffins you’re referring to are known as English muffins, that’s what they’re known as in the US anyway

Both the times I have purchased Muffins online , they were and still are advertised as English Muffins , but .like I said , they were nowhere near as soft as the ones used in McDonalds.

If this is the sort of post on here now, the "lounge" can be safely closed, IMO. I thought it was for the "unusual" sort of discussion, not something about commercial food products.

I didn't realise it was in the Lounge, but usually if a post is in the wrong sub forum it gets moved.

I wasn't trying to get at you personally, but that sort of post is so common on the "lounge" that it's getting a bit pointless now, IMO.

Macca's buns and muffins are supplied by Farmhouse.

English muffins are called that because a baker named John English invented them (in America).

Possibly a bit of misinterpretation.

Bread products versus “bun muffin’ “

I’d rather see the thread deleted than call into question the lounge.
