A 38-year-old music teacher from a well-known school in Ekkamai has been taken to the Southern Bangkok Criminal Court for a hearing. He is facing ten significant sexual abuse charges and has been denied bail by authorities.

 

As the police moved him from the cell to the police car, the teacher showed no emotions and did not respond to the media's questions. His arrest comes after the parents of the victims lodged complaints and explicit videos were found on his USB stick, reportedly gathered over the last two years.

 

The police have split the case into two sections. The first part involves the molestation charges as reported by the families of the victims. The second part deals with the discovery of several explicit videos during a search, leading to more charges.

 

 

The teacher is facing a total of ten charges. These include sexual abuse of children under 15 years old, regardless of whether they agreed or not, and rape through either force or fear. Other charges are related to performing inappropriate actions towards minors, both below and above 15 years old, and abducting minors for indecent purposes.

 

Additional charges include use of force causing physical harm, intimidating individuals into actions, and possesssion of pornographic materials. During the investigation, two phones and a USB stick containing several explicit videos were confiscated, which led to charges of possessing inappropriate material. The teacher has confessed to all the charges.

I would guess it´s a file photo, otherwise they would have mentioned he was foreigner. But, don´t think you can get job as music teacher as a foreigner in Thailand.

Am sure if it was a foreigner that the news services would be blasting it frequently. Given there was no mention about it being a foreigner then we should assume with some confidence that it was a thai man.

Personally I think it's wrong to use that photo, when connected to a sexual abuse case, some one will know who that is, Bad move
