I tried to log into Lazada today and got the message as per the above heading.

I tried to phone them but they say only available Monday to Friday.

Its Saturday today.

I order a lot thru Lazada and never cancelled.

I will try contact them on Monday...

but anyone have the same issue?

As far as I know i did nothing to cause cancellation.

Thx any ideas.

My Account still working as normal.

 

From the message it sounds like you (or someone else with access to your account) deleted (closed) the account.

 

I hope on Monday you will receive enough information what was going on...

I'm guessing you use a PC and the Lazada.co.th site?

 

Do you use the mobile app? There may be some info under Messages, Alerts, Services. Example ! An UNUSUAL attempt was detected on your Lazada Account.

 

My account is accessible on both a PC and the mobile app.

 

Maybe there was some unusual activity on your account?

Perhaps temporarily closed, for your own good--irregular activity. But you'd think you'd have received notice.

 

Please let us know the outcome.

could just be a software error,   I would try and log in again tomorrow and see if it's still happening. 

I say that because I know LINE sometimes gives false errors as in incorrect password or username, and the next day it's fine.

This might help you or someone. I could NOT log in from my PC as it kept saying my account was CLOSED! I was having a fit and can't call help at night. So, went to the app on my android phone and it instead said the account was FROZEN! To unfreeze it, I had to use the fingerprint sensor. That did it. Now it's not closed on the PC. Other than that, I do get kind of tired of these traffic light and crosswalk puzzles to log in, but this is the first time the CLOSED message appeared and Google was no help.

I meet the same problem few minutes ago.
Account closed on my PC.
But account frozen on the android app.
Just had to follow few steps to recover the account on android, then just log in again on the PC and it was fine.

Dont't know why this problem occurred (a bug ?) but all good now.

I must specify that this is the kind of (unpleasant) surprise that I do not appreciate at all. Hoping that it will not happen too often...

Try accessing your account from a different device.
 

Lazada might display the "Your account has been closed" message, but it's possible that your account has been temporarily frozen for security reasons.
 

If this is the case, you might be able to unfreeze your account by logging in through a more trusted method.

Thx to all for trying to help/ The problem arose on my PC. I did try to log in on my Tablet which said my account frozen and I needed to enter a new mobile number. But that too was met with a message   "too many attempts try later"

Seems glitches in their system or whatever so i await to try to speak to Lazada on Monday.

( I can use a different account with different email)

I wanted to do some shopping today (7/7 promotions) , but account closed !

Never had a return or complaint.

I have no phone or other device than my PC.

So making a new account is not possible because now you need 

an SMS code .

I'm seriously p-ssed.

I have this problem as well. But now it even worse "Please enter a valid phone number". What's the problem today with Lazada?

I use a VPN and every time that I use Lazada, I have to jump through hoops.

Use the 'slide' button.

Click on buses, bikes, traffic lights whatever.

Then they send a code. (After another message that I have to answer.)

Not been closed yet.

I buy quite a lot on Lazada - for the business.

I only use a PC.

They should give a message to log-in from app to verify ID.

 

Dumbass fraud triggers probably set too high - so its went to loads of people.

Monday morning ....

Anyone call them yet to ask what is going on ?

I still can't log in. The log on screen is a little different than before too.

 

Sure , open a new account , but then I loose my order history and reviews.

Those are important to know where or what not to buy anymore.

Well phoned Lazada this morning and still not fixed. They sent an email as follows:

 

 

 

"Thank you for contacting us this time. Lazada received the request number ***************** Your request is now under investigation.

 

Lazada apologizes once again for the inconvenience this experience has caused you. We truly appreciate your valuable time, patience and understanding. Your satisfaction holds the highest importance to us.

 

If in doubt You can ask for more information at our customer service department."

^Well that wasn't very helpful of them , since it is their fault.

 

You can't chat with them , because you need ... a working log on.

 

Do they allow you to have more than 1 account ?

Just tried to make a new account , but the teleph number I gave was not accepted because linked to other account. (mine of course)

 Shut the VPN?  obviously, it's going to trigger alerts as you look like you are not in Thailand

Worked for me as well. Though after seeing permissions demanded by the app - it's getting deleted immediately.

They have flagged my account for years and don't allow me to search for items.  The search box literally disappears.  I might get one or two searches in if I'm lucky. Also, only allow me to read a page or two of reviews before throwing me back to the home page.  Weird company and now use Shopee daily and Lazada maybe once a year.

I called Lazada again today Tuesday. They say they working on it. And have apologized again. They conceded "not my fault" Problem their system.

 

I sent as requested a screen shot of saying my account closed.

 

I asked about me having more than 1 account:

no problem "can have multiple accounts"
