When Crooks was 17, he made a $15 donation to ActBlue, a political action committee that raises money for left-leaning and Democratic politicians, according to a 2021 Federal Election Commission filing. The donation was earmarked for the Progressive Turnout Project, a national group that rallies Democrats to vote. The groups did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

State voter records show that Crooks was a registered Republican, according to US media.

He is also reported to have donated $15 to liberal campaign group ActBlue in 2021.

Congratulations, you are mnow on my ignore list, leftie rat

Fantastic to be on your ignore list!  Thanks! :wai:

Not true. Just those who post misinformation. I love a healthy and FACTUAL debate

OK, possibly not using labels might help improve your debate skills.  Might be in the first chapter of "Debating for Dummies".  Try making your point without labeling all members of groups you are not a member of as idiots.  Just a thought but doubt you care.

I don't label all members as idiots. Just try to correct those who fall for misinformation and post it here

Wow. What a stretch. Security was weak. Trump pumped his fists 3 times. Never said it was a staged stunt. Definitely an act by a deranged individual.

Really ?   so what were you talking about when you posted

Signal to the crowd he was ok? It was a political stunt that put others lives at risk. 3 times. Strength? He's a fat old man, jeez.

No it doesn't. In Pennsylvania it is a common tactic to register as a member of the opposite party. This allows you to vote in their primaries and potentially screw up their choice of candidates.

The shooter also donated to a democratic PAC, and also to Biden on his inauguration day. That may actually show which way he leaned.

Let it go mate, you are replying to a leftie troll

Only put him on ignore a few minutes ago and already got 10 of these..

You've chosen to ignore content by Roo Island. Options

If you look back you can see Trump's security first push him to the podium floor and then, after more security declared it was clear, he was lifted up, bundled down the stairs and across into the van. His head was exposed only briefly when he wanted to signal to the crowd that he was OK. He should have not tried to do that but that is Trump, and his security team found out, for a second or two, how much strength he still has.

Nonsense back..

Yeah, the Pilsbury Dough Boy out-muscled his security detail ... :cheesy:

You are trying to smother us with made up nonsense and you are obviously not a professional security expert.

Trump's SS team was limited - seemingly to close protection only - it is much smaller than for a sitting president and therefore far less capable than what is deployed for Biden. In this case they used the available cover of the podium until the sniper's position was known, then moved Trump once they had word that the shooter was neutralized. They had to work with local police via radio and it looks like the police killed the assassin.

There was no cover on stage. They were sitting ducks on stage. In that kind of situation you have to move the target immediately. It's other security forces job to determine location and return fire not the SS protecting Trump.

One Guy is there in the video yelling "123 let's go!". They should not need to do that. They have spent years rehearsing this situation. I'm not sure what happened here. They are trained to not freeze like that.

Then Trump pops his head up after he's in the car. They did not even have him secured in the vehicle 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you look again it is clear he was ORDERED "down" after the bullet grazed his ear, and within seconds SS was all over him, requesting if it was safe yet to move him to the van

God forbid.

If so, kiss democracy Goodbye.

Note that Mike Pence who has not endorsed Trump is in that video.

In all fairness Obama skipped Biden for Hillary the first go around. Well, anyway...

They have created Trumpzilla now. Bullets can't kill him and he feeds upon the tears and anger of his opponents. I won't bither saying much more this is going to end up just being meat between the incessant ramblings of s few people. Perhaps if it is possible there should be a time limit on posts in a thread.

Sadly. 10% of America is ok with Trump being assassinated. The political divide is tearing America apart. And Trump bears a lot of the responsibility

Making a monetary  donation to a Political party is more likely to show your political alliance, more so than filling a form out where no money is spent .

Silly question but are they obligated to take kill shots on shooters?

Wouldn't have taken out his legs put him out of service enough to end the threat and then we could learn about his motives PLUS life in prison is really a much harsher punishment than instant death.

Also, if hopefully Trump loses and faces the legal consequences he deserves, they could have been prison buddies.
