Well I can't be too active since I had 2 broken ankles just went for a blood test today nothing is wrong apart from diabetes 2 which I had for over 20 years

If you have diabetes you should probably not drink a multiple glasses to multiple bottles of wine every night to blackout as you claim. Drinking that much is no good for your diabetes and also stopping would help you with your diet.

Old people should not drink alchohol anymore, simple as that, but if thats whats keep you going, why not.

Most people should be smart enough to make good decisions for themselves, but some myths and illusions live for ever. A glass of wine or a bottle is what makes life worth living

I don't think it's outdated.

Just watched one video. He claims fats and carbs compete for being used as fuel, so if you are high in both, one will get used as fuel and the other will get stored as fat.

Anyway, it depends on your activity levels. If you are very active, you don't need to give too much attention to macros.

One guy probably eats 300 grams of carbs daily, but surfs 3 hours a day and lifts weights. Most people are not that active and would get fat on 300 grams of carbs a day.

If your healthy, your body will use mostly  fat for energy during exercise up to about 70% of your max heart rate then it will switch over  to using mostly sugar until you reach about 88%(not sure about that estimate) of your max heart rate.  Past that Lactate will be the primary source as well  as sugar and for short burst ATP will be used. That is why marathon runners run about 80% of their runs very slow so their body becomes efficient at using fat for energy.  Too much info  🙂

So then, this comment will be a collaborative effort?

No charge, I presume.

The term GARBAGE cannot be overused, IMHO.

But then, what would you call food that causes heart disease, if not really food.

Just google "world chart on obese citizens" and you will see that food can be a killer for sure.  Reasearchers now report the major premature killers of mankind are caused by BAD diets BUT by changing one's diet to a much healthier one and a little exercise, those killers can be silenced longer hopefully before one's health is totally shot.  Being healthy in old age can be great if that is what one wants to achieve.  Have a good one.

OMAD (5am daily) is the go and nothing but water (no beer and no coffee has been tough).

Dropped 12kg in the past 4 weeks, time to ease up as target weight has been achieved.

researchers now recommend 2-3 cups coffee daily for longer life - no milk and sugar.  (number one researcher now Dr. William Li - harvard heart specialist and researcher)

After reading all of this, I am going back to the Carnival Diet. A corndog, popcorn washed down with a good vintage soda. Maybe some cotton candy if I'm not going on the rides.

12 kg in 4 weeks, right. How many calories do you eat a day? 600?

Don't know how many calories.

Todays meal was boiled eggs mashed onto dry toast, two slices.

Also, alcohol, excessively consumed, might damage the heart, either directly or indirectly through interference with more-normal sleep patterns.

2 eggs is 140 to 150 calories

2 toast is 200 calories

Only 500 a day if only 2 eggs. Not enough for an adult.

7 eggs plus 2 toast would work. 1350 calories.

How do you live on that? That is an extreme diet. I hope you add salt.

Where did you get this diet idea from?

Obviously, much of the weight loss, in this short time period, is due to fluid loss.

Have you not heard of One Meal A Day ?

Yes but 2 eggs and toast is pretty limited. I think the omad diet is supposed to be a large meal like 1000 calories.

You mean as a coffee enema, or as a beverage?
