IIRC there was a bipartisan bill, supported by both Democrats and sensible Republicans, to resolve the border crisis. Trump killed it via his lackeys because he wanted to keep the border issue on the table to hammer the government.

Perhaps you don't remember that, or more likely choose to ignore it.

remember it well and knew the reason that Trump wanted to keep it an issue for the election - any possible support he is willing to sacrifice anyone and any laws or problems just so it benefits him personally in my opinion anyway.

i think it was more to do with things that were slipped into the bill that he didn't agree with. however without spending time searching i cannot say what, perhaps i will later.

It is always amusing that when you complain that border is open, the left will call you a liar, and claim it is closed.

Then when you show that the border is open, the left will blame Trump.

Then when you show that it's not Trump's fault that the border is open, the left will start talking about how we need illegal immigrants to save the economy.

So, what they are effectively saying that is that they want open borders and all the problems that come with it, for money.

In any event, ten million illegal aliens in three years, and every one of them committed a crime when they crossed the border. So, ten million new low and no skilled "workers", that are often illiterate in their native tonged, and almost always illiterate in English, and that likely will never assimilate, and many of whom will be on some form of public assistance for life.

They definitionally will:

1. Put downward pressure on wages, which is great for the rich.

2. Put upward pressure on housing costs, which is also great for the rich.

3. Reduce the quality and availability of social services, which the rich do not care about.

4. Increase the size of government, which will benefit many of the rich.

5. Overburden public schools, disproportionally forcing up the cost while at the same time reducing the quality, which the rich do not care about either.

6. Dilute American culture, patriotism and civic pride.

That's why Biden, Harris and the left all support open borders.

In order to reconstruct a country you must first deconstruct it. These are all tactics to deconstruct. In order to supposedly reconstruct you must "eliminate cultural, ethnic and national identity". What is in quotes is from the mouth of Schulz when at the EU and during the opening of the mass immigration floodgates by Merkel.

Notice how the MSM belittles Nationalism and equates any kind of pride in your country as the road to a return of Nazism.

Nothing is happening by accident. It was all planned, from the first "experiment" with multiculturalism. Why was this experiment deemed necessary and by who?

Note my issue is with the political strategy of top down enforced multiculturalism, not natural cosmopolitanism.

She's a communist like her marxist daddy, what do you think her policies are? What she did as a prosecutor was to put black men in jail for trivial offences and help get other dangerous ones let out, while withholding vital evidence against others. Seems to dislike black men for some reason.

Biden canceled every Trump border policy and let ten million illegal aliens flood across the border.

Then Biden tries to get a bill passed that would do nothing but process the illegal aliens into the country more quickly and help get the illegal aliens legalized and subsidized as fast as possible.

It is amusing that you still believe a media that has been swearing for years that Biden is sharp as a tack, that his aides can't keep up with him, and that claim the videos showing Biden's condition were phony and had been generated by the evil Republicans.

That you don't understand it after all these years is not surprising.

Let hear YOUR reason to keep this stupid system!

I bet you don't understand it neither...

Smart people at Harward are in my corner on this;

At least I do my own taxes after I learned how to do it. Are you?

And I'm pretty good at it: I ended pointing out tax law teacher at St George University he's teaching wrong reporting limits for foreign funds 🙂

He openly thanked me for that front of his class.

I once worked at Dupont in Seaford Del. home of Biden, never had a co-worker, most from Delaware, ever say anything good about Biden, I have noted that many times and stated also that I have never been a Democrat nor ever voted for a Democrat in my life (77 year-old).  But, that doesn't mean that I am a fan of Trump either - never have been and after working as a govt employee would I work for Him or Hillary either.  Such is life as I understand it and this is my opinion of these candidates for this election.  Glad I am retired for sure!

Biden doesn't have a sincere bone in his body. He is on record with some very different views on race relations to the ones he pretends to hold now.

Biden who?

BS. He got it killed because letting it through would have removed one of the biggest planks in his policy platform.

Trump was speaking at an event organized by the conservative group Turning Point Action in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Trump said: "Christians, get out and vote, just this time. "You won't have to do it anymore. Four more years, you know what, it will be fixed, it will be fine, you won't have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians."
He added: "I love you Christians. I'm a Christian. I love you, get out, you gotta get out and vote. In four years, you don't have to vote again, we'll have it fixed so good you're not going to have to vote," Trump said.

'
Pretty clear, " You're not going to have to vote again, I will have it fixed so good you're not going to have to vote".

do you have a video clip of this actually being said? a totally unedited version, not like the 'fine people' nonsense!

He obviously means he will fix America's problems.  They won't need to vote for fixing the border again (for example). I'm guessing you want to twist it into no more elections?  just a guess LOL

You read it, you saw it, you attempted to spin it. This crap is getting old and people are seeing through it. Don is toast.

You can play semantics and word games all you want, but the fact is that Biden put her in charge of the border. Here is his actual speech from March 24, 2021 when he did so;

I’ve asked her, the VP, today — because she’s the most qualified person to do it — to lead our efforts with Mexico and the Northern Triangle and the countries that help — are going to need help in stemming the movement of so many folks, stemming the migration to our southern border.

and

she’s leading the effort because I think the best thing to do is to put someone who, when he or she speaks, they don’t have to wonder about is that where the President is.  When she speaks, she speaks for me.  Doesn’t have to check with me.

So yeah, maybe he didnt speak the magical words Border Czar, but that is irrelevant. She was in charge, with full Presidential authority and power, and blew it.

As I posted and reflected in Biden's speech "I’ve asked her, the VP, today — because she’s the most qualified person to do it — to lead our efforts with Mexico and the Northern Triangle and the countries that help — are going to need help in stemming the movement of so many folks, stemming the migration to our southern border"

Other member of the Administration has executive responsibility for Border Control and Immigration i.e.

Troy A. Miller and Ur M. Jaddou

Your comment is only misinformation from trump being repeated

How is it "fascism"?

I've addressed this many times before and you know it.

Yet again..

It's even worse now.

Video made before the favorable to Trump SCOTUS presidential immunity ruling.

The post you are quoting it is not mine.TedG posted it.

Who's Ted?

You mean..

Ted of Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice?

My only excuse is that my NOTE4 is definitely NOT what it used to be.

Why do people insert multiple quotes from multiple members inside quoted text?

Should they not be banned for doing so?

I would ban them if they did it multiple times.

Or, if not banning them, then what should we do with them?

Maybe we should make the members glow in the dark in different colors so what we could know who said what?

Also, just curious, what did I quote when I quoted, not yours, but Bob?

Isn't life complicated enough without this?
