Sadly it shows again egos are more important than actually taking care of the people he represents.

Thai politicians NEVER EVEN THINK to represent people. They only think about themselves. Recent history is proof (if ever needed) of this…

That's part of a jouno's job.

Exactly…

Lock the piece of crap away.

He's a coffin dodger, so won't be too long and not too much of a waste of taxpayers money.

To be fair,, she was trying to wind him up.

It's a journalist's job to ask questions about things that are happening. That does not count as " winding him up".

Looked like the reporter was having a good time. She kept taunting him with questions even after he threw a few slaps her way. This will be good for her career probably.

Nothing will happen. We read of many far harsher beatings that have been dispatched by much lesser people and they get away it. Nothing to see here.

Whatever his punishment is I would expect to  the same if I do this to any Thai person on my next visit .   Beware Thailand.  This is a legal can of worms.  Taxi drivers that deny a ride a big slap.

Make Trump look like a whimp.

Keep Thai politics out of US politics please.

He still alive?

Was he ever?

More chance in me handing in a tax return than him doing any stir.

In a clearer video from a different angle it was clear to see that he struck her a number of times on the head. He was out of control.

Obviously lost the plot when he thought the reporter had uncovered the sham appointment.....

True that, arrest followed closely by collapse then raced to a hospital suite, total farce and the world watches and laughs and goes elsewhere for holidays or retirement etc.

Prawit also expressed his desire to inspire more young people to engage in sports

...in boxing, one presumes.

Fatty boombah is a just a meme at this stage.

It was all a misunderstanding. Perhaps Mr. Toad was simply trying to borrow her watch.

It is doubtful he (or anyone else) has seen his in ages. Perhaps that is the wellspring of his anger

Where is the eye-roll emoticon, for those who are completely helpless to make everything about American politics and their orange hued cult leader?

Yes, politicians are all aware of this contagious disease all over the world

Silly old fool, seems he was a wee bit pissed off on hearing the news, he wanted the job.

Of course he will never spend any time inside.

Maybe he told truth what he can't say. "There is big peoples who doesn't hear small people's and hitting them face". If he tell full truth what everyone thinking about this all what now happening then he will be prison rest of his life 😀

Silly old fool. No coincidence you are hitting women, any bloke would lay you out.

Hope he is prosecuted but very unlikely given his position.

This man is the embodiment of everything that is wrong with Thai politics. If dealing with him and his cronies is the start of a swamp-clearing operation then this is going to get messy. Someone needs to do it though.
