Crikey, it's a simple posting and you have a dozen questions. 😂

You're the one that brought it up , so it must be a issue with you, I would be interested to know why, but not that interested.

For the avoidance of doubt, I do hold hands with my G/F, who is younger than me, (but not excessively so) because we like to do so.

Yes.......lot of time and energy spent making a selection.....not easy....and no intentions of letting them slip away on the way back.

In my case if there are a lot of (single)women around the gf will latch onto me.

This one is taken!

I kind of like it that way.

Better then some i guess.

I'm going down South again and converting. You bleeding heart Christians and your 'woman's rights'.

Y'all really screwed the pooch there ... DUMB ASSES

On topic ... yes, still hold the wife's hand, every now & then, when the mood strikes.   Though not as much as ex  GFs/wives in USA.    Hot ... damn hot, and sweaty hands are uncomfortable.

I don't do P4P ... so N/A to OP.   Get strange looks when holding daughter's hand 😂

If the girl genuinely likes you then holding hands makes sense, but if its fake then it's worthless, same as LTs, fake hugging in bed, pointless

What do you mean with LT?

You are dating (paying) your much younger gf.

You want the world to know how cool you are and you want to show your trophy.

So, you hold hands in the shopping mall and BTS.

Ridiculous or not?

Holding hands is not a big thing in Thai culture, some go arm in arm.

I prefer privacy for displays of affection.

Married, he sees being married to a woman as a long term paid option.

It's not the typical LT but yes it is a paid quasi LLT

My wife always holds my hand when we are out.....................and I see younger Thais doing the same.

And as on here there are frequent topics related to wills in Thailand, some would say the 'long term' is how long the much younger Thai wife has to wait for the much older farang hubby to expire.

Perving on other couples ridiculous?

See it quite a bit in Bangkok, when they are leading the man to the ATM.  Makes as much sense as posters on various forums who refer to prostitutes as “ladies”

What do you mean with "much younger"? How many years younger or how many percent younger?

If you're doing it to "show off" then yes - it's ridiculous.

Personally I don't date/pay anyone that I don't geuninely like and feel like they like me beyond just money, and if I like them then sure I will hold hands and hug them - because I like them, not to show off.

Aye,  but your wife doesn't meet the OP's criterion of "gf" and we do not know if she meets the undfined criterion of " much younger"
