Trump is a pedophile? Come on man.

Sure some businesses fail, but his economic achievements are a matter of record.

What economic achievements has Kamala Harris to show for herself? I've earned more than her in some years. Her net worth is down to her lawyer husband.

Well, he had a privileged upbringing, but he turned the million dollars he was given into an empire almost worth a billion, lost it and then regained it.

I mean you can say what you like about Trump, but when it comes to economics, he's been a major player. Harris was a major player in criminal courts.

Same with Vance, btw, he's worth 10 million and started his own firms, knows venture capitalism. How is he not considerably more qualified than Harris to handle the economy?

False. He inherited $413 million from Fred Trump. He always tries to minimize what he got from his father, to aggrandize his own business acumen. Which seems to mainly consist of dudding contractors

A major player in economics, with at least 7 failed businesses? ROFL.

Trump has been a major player in courts too. 4000 of them, being sued or suing someone. That was before he even got on the wrong side of the criminal courts.

You don't seem to understand all Presidents have advisers. Although Trump is notorious for disregarding any advice but his own.

Thank you for suggesting a project to me. From now on, I will keep a screenshot of every post I think is smart and well-informed, and the ones I think are egregiously stupid. When I get to ten of each, I will post them on two separate threads, and ask for a vote by ASEAN members on which they think is the winner in each category.

I will be excluding my own posts, unless they are responses debunking another, in which case both posts will be shown.

My congratulations. You are the first contender.

Can I ask a serious question please?

So Kamala Harris is a criminal attorney.

Why, o why, would any voter put a criminal attorney in charge of the economy and foreign policy?

Isn't that the pinnacle of stupidity?

Criminal attorneys are not criminals.

Putting a convicted criminal in charge would be the pinnacle of stupidity.

Trump did not inherit $413 million from Fred Trump. That is simply not true.

Another know-nothing leftist regurgitating lies.

Yes, of course, you can go even more silly.

But I mean, the president is the comannder in chief. Kamala has zero military qualifications.

The president can propose legislation on economic matters like mortgages that affect hundreds of millions of people. Kamala has zero economic qualifications.

The president can enter into treaties with foreign countries. Kamala has zero experience in interntational relations.

If you were to convict some burglars, Kamala is a choice that makes sense. But for president, surely this woman is extremely poorly qualified?

Indeed, I think he inherited about a million USD from his father and multiplied it manifold. His economic achievements are well documented.

Here's the opinion of a reporter who investigated.

No policies in any of her speeches

Policies?  Problem is if you want Harris to talk about policies, and she has already talked about the economy etc..  Then Trump would have to respond  The last person capable of talking about policies is Donald the Trump. The republican Party has been begging him to talk about policy, cut the snark & a bit of the nastiness (ten years on and it seem to be getting old to many undecided voters). He can't, he doesn't know how. What would he say? His policy of tax cuts for the wealthy. His policy of firing any government official that does not kowtow to him personally, but instead upholds the rule of law. Not going to win doing that.

Smart move setting the ground work to back out of that debate. Trump knows he will likely get forced into talking about policies, his weak spot. Harris would beat him like a gong. For good or ill he has to go with what got him here in the first place, that most definitely is  not issues or policies..

Many presidents did not serve in the military.

Does military espionage count as military experience? Trump has been indicted in Florida for espionage.

Real estate tax giveaways is not economic experience, neither is bankrupting multiple companies or defrauding contractors.

Harris has plenty of experience internationally. The job is not about sharing love letters with dictators.

I see, The New York Times is a leftist rag.

According to a New York Times report in 2018, Trump received at least $413 million (in 2018 prices) from his father's business empire.

I know you want to be a contender, but I have to exercise judgment. Short posts don't qualify.

Very interesting. I had seen the 1 million story but in light of this pbs link, it would indeed appear that Trump got considerably more from his father.

He still multiplied it manifold, nontheless, but a good link.

He also defrauded his own family to get more of the inheritance.

However, we should clarify that the 34 figure relates to 34 vouchers Trumps former lawyer received which all said "legal expense".

In essence it is one crime, not 34.

Are you part of the school visit?

If he does bow out he's even dumber than I thought.  He doesn't debate so he has absolutely nothing to lose--and huge exposure to spout his lies and regurgitate his stump speech--maybe even win over a few brain-dead undecideds.  How easy could it get?  No prep needed at all.  He just has to do the same thing he did with Biden.  He'll show up,

Trump would have made more money just buying an index fund. Terrible businessman. If it wasn't for royalties from his show, he'd really be doing bad.

How many times did he go bankrupt?  Right....

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/donald-trump-ivanka-trump-creepiest-most-unsettling-comments-a-roundup-a7353876.html

When Donald Trump was watching his 16-year-old daughter Ivanka host the 1997 Miss Teen USA pageant, he turned to the then-Miss Universe and asked: “Don’t you think my daughter’s hot? She’s hot, right?”

In the almost 20 years since, Mr Trump has called his eldest daughter “voluptuous”. He’s said it’s OK to describe her as “a piece of ass”, though she is a senior executive in his business empire. And he’s said that, if she wasn’t his daughter, “perhaps [he’d] be dating her”.
