Illegal Migrant Accused of Horrific Murder of New York Family
More American citizens kill people in the US than documented illegal immigrants (vs. legal immigrants). Thus, Trump should deport those millions of Americans? Which he can do under Project 2025. -

passport required for domestic flights? I have a Thai DL
The pink ID card has your name in Thai script ONLY whereas a Thai ID card AND ticket/boarding pass, has the name in English. Minimum security checks for both name and photo. I am sure that someone will claim that they have managed to board a domestic flight with a pink ID card, but it isn't recognized by the authorities as an acceptable photo ID for foreigners. Its not a 'claim' its a fact... I have had the Pink ID accepted when boarding for domestic flights over the past couple of years.... at both the Thai Airways Check-in, and, and security check-point - never an issue and its clearly accepted by authorites and airline check-in for domestic flights. That said, I did read that Air-Asia will not accept a pink ID at check-in and request a Passport. Thus: Mileage Clearly varies. (I wouldn't want to travel withonly a Pink ID - the passport is always there, just in case, tucked away in my bag). I have had the Pink ID accepted as proof of ID whenever stopped by the Police in Bangkok. In such cases, I'm sure a Driving License will also be accepted, or a Photo of your Passport on your Phone - in many cases the BiB are just looking for some form of compliance and are happy to see you on your way. -

Pattaya’s raunchy nightlife is still expanding
I think he does. He is one of the Big Wig farangs in Pattaya Town. Honory counsel of Pattaya, used to run the show at immigration. He even wrote the Pattaya book. He was high up in the police force also. Nobody knows more about Pattaya than Barry. -

passport required for domestic flights? I have a Thai DL
I doubt they'd notice it. I'll make sure and get a receipt from the Embassy showing I've applied, the money paid blah blah blah. The punched passport + that stuff would presumably allow me to fly International. Anybody want to weigh in on that? Is a punched passport OK for international flights as long as it's not expired or past the 6 months left requirement? that is another interesting question that would be good have an answer too. -

Guys, they almost got away with memory-holing this!
Look at who the mudslingers are and you may find a clue. That of course is far more than the poster has. -

Transfer car from my company to me - Is there a way to avoid or reduce VAT?
The VAT amount mentioned by you would represent a today's car value of THB 715,000. When you bought it, your company used the VAT paid to the dealership as input VAT; i.e. this amount could be used for your company's VAT liabilities against company sales by the company. Obviously you cannot have your cake and eat it; if the car was properly booked as assets into your company with VAT credit, then you have to live with the VAT debit upon selling the asset. Given the fact, that your company owned the car two years already, the company could benefit of a write-off 40% (20%/annum) of the car's initial value. Back in the day, the highest purchase price of car accepted by the Revenue Department was THB 1,000,000. Given that, your company's car would have a present-day value of THB 600,000 upon which of 0HB 42,000 VAT would apply. Your company could also sell the car below the book or market value - but it would require a paper trail prove it. Say, you sell the car to a third party and co-incidentally a friend of your confidence decides to buy your company's car in his name due to a very low attractive value, then he would have to pay the company through a bank transfer. On that amount VAT of 7% applies and the car changing ownership from the company to your friend. At a later stage your friend might want to sell this car to you - at the same price he bought it or slightly more. You would have to pay your friend with a bank transfer for the paper trail and once done, the car gets transferred from him to you - again against a nominal transfer fee. No VAT would apply on this fictitious transaction anymore as both your friend and yourself have no VAT registration. If you'r e lucky, this scenario could happen and Bob's your uncle! -
