Found one report from some Russian guy about Kasikorn Bank in Surin province.

1) Went to IO to get COR for opening bank account.
"On what basis?" - Showed them DTV.
"Oh, ok fine, here you go"

2) At the bank. Clerk refused because it is just DTV.
Guy pointed out that it is 5 Year visa.
Clerk went to manager to discuss.
Nope.

Guy said i'll be receiving my income from remote work, and want to pay taxes, but need an account in my name for that.
You don't want me to receive income to 3rd party account right?

go get 2 Thai guarantors and we'll open an account for you.

Went outside, gave 500b to 2 Thais. DONE.
