These would be Assassins'  are pretty Piss Poor these days not like in the old days in the 60s. Maybe third time lucky.

You want a Politian to be assassinated because you disagree with his position ?

It reads the guy was pro Ukraine 🇺🇦 and perhaps the rhetoric of trump saying he would stop supporting and let Russia finish the war was perhaps his reasoning

Know nothing about guns but if you were to seriously assassinate a person would you not be using one of those sniper guns?

Correct, longer, tighter barrel, heavier bullet and a better scope. More suitable rifles are available for very small money. The first kid with a 30-06 would not have missed. An AR-15 or AK-47 are not designed for single shot accuracy, they are designed to fire a lot of bullets quickly.

I’m not diverting Jonny.

I stated he voted for Trump in 2016, that is true.

As for this outburst:

“It's like saying one of the terrorists who flew into the twin towers once went to a church service in 1993 therefore the 911 attacks in 2001 had nothing to do with Islam.”

I have never said anything of the sort, it’s something that came out of your own head.

Get a grip of yourself Jonny.

You said "It's nothing to with the left".

That is completely untrue. Laughable.

He is a registered Democrat for goodness sake. Stop gaslighting.

Didnt the previous attempted assassin also claimed to have previously been a Trump supporter ?

When did Routh claim to have voted for Trump ?

Did he state that in 2016 or did he state that just recently ?

Could be that they are falsly stating their affliction with Trump just before they attempt an assassination attempt

Hope springs eternal.

is this a case of you reap what you sew? I wonder how he stands on the 2nd amendment lately. I go along with the outlawing of firearms altogether. Japan, England, most of Europe. Hell what is this US obsession with owning a firearm? Aren't the monthly mass shootings enough to knock some sense into folks.

To say that "the left" is on any way responsible for the actions of one disturbed individual is completely untrue. Laughable.

To say that a registered Democrat trying to assassinate the Republican candidate 2 months before the election is nothing to do with the left is gaslighting in the extreme. There are plenty on the left who support this type of thing, you only had to look at the comments from Democrats after the first attempt ("shame you missed", "better luck next time" etc.).

You'll be saying it had nothing to do with politics next. Maybe he took offense to Trump's golf swing? Yeah, that'll be it. 😃

Yep, and they could also be aliens.

Here's a thought; this could all be planned by Trump and his inner circle. Arrange a couple of half a**ed "assassination" attempts to garner sympathy since it's obvious where the wind is blowing wrt the election. Throw in some fake blood like in the first attempt for dramatic effect and then hope enough gullibles fall for it.

When did Routh first claim to be a Trump supporter ?

In 2016 , 2024 or maybe  even in  2916 ?

It would be rather suspicious if numerous people kept claiming to be a Trump supporters just prior to assassinating  him

Considering Trumps outlandish and outrageous daily lies and false claims I wouldn't put it passed him and his unhinged supporters to pull stunts like this. These folks are power mad and will do or say anything .. literally. Listening to the debate was nauseating. They have folks drinking and lapping up the fear filled double pack double sugar Kookaid .. Fux news etc.

It hasn't been established that fake blood was used in the first assassination attempt , so you are just making that up or repeating   fake news

So anyone who supports the right to bear arms deserves to be assassinated? Are you guys completely deranged?

Just a reminder that the report button is not there to fight your battles for you. Moderators can see when you're doing it and won't take action.

To clarify citing sources:

  • If someone is claiming something new or something that disputes generally accepted information, they should provide a source.
  • If someone is discussing something that has been reported widely in the news, or is citing their own personal opinion (and making it clear that this is what it is) no citation is needed.

We want good information that is valuable to our readers, but also forum posts aren't a thesis, so not every single post requires a citation.

You are replying to a poster who just made an outlandish claim and told a lie himself  , whilst you are now accusing others of doing so .
