  • Probably Trump doesn't want another 3 on 1 "debate" and so will either refrain or only agree to a fair (er) venue like the Biden "debate"   However the real question is if  Harris will agree

  • Yes, I agree that Trump hated to be called out on his incessant lying and would much rather have someone like Hannity "moderating", who has his nose firmly and permanently stuck up Trump's 'ample' rea

  • If I was in Trump's position, I wouldn't debate Comrade Kamala again. Why? Because she, my opponent, needs a second debate after messing up the first one with a biased pair of ABC moderators. I don't.

However the real question is if  Harris will agree to a hostile venue like Trunp did  or just hide till it's announced.

If you bothered reading the linked article Mr Baier (not exactly a Dem lover) claims it's Trump who's hiding, not Harris.

Rather inconvenient piece of info for you guys, right?

Well, then you have my condolences.

Do other countries have these ritual debates between Presidential and PM candidates?

I know we have a history going back to Lincoln-Douglas and  televised debates since 1950s.

But  When one side can avoid every single question whilst spouting a fountain of codswallop?

Then to be fact checked my moderators for just a few of the the most venal  lies to be called one sided?

Seems like a dog and pony show no longer fit for purpose. A waste of time

Another example of American exceptionalism that should be abolished, i'd reckon.

Just love it when the MAGA faithful hit me with the F-word!😁

You didn't look, did you?

If it is accurate, it is definitely disappointing.   Baier would be a good moderator IMHO, perhaps bring in someone independent like Megyn Kelly to sit in the second seat.  I am surprised that the Harris camp isn't crowing this from the rooftops if the story is true.

As we can see here, some of them are, and, as usuual, they don't care if it's true ot not.

Personally, I would prefer Neil Cavuto if forced to pick one from Fox, although Baier isn't the worst choice. Neil Cavuto and Chris Wallace (yes, I know he doesn't work for Fox anymore) would be a pairing I wouldn't mind seeing in a debate between Harris and Trump.

PS. IMHO it would be a stretch to refer to Kelly as independent.

Neil would be good, but I am not sure if he is nimble on his feet enough to moderate a debate.  Maybe Peter Doocie, the White House correspondent?  For an outsider.....Glenn Greenwald as a wild card choice. Or Dave Smith the comedian/podcaster.

As for Megyn, according to her she has voted D 4 times and R 4 times in presidential elections, and is a registered Independent.  Also has a less than uber-friendly history with the Bad Orange Man.   But very sharp, she did a great interview a couple weeks ago on the All In Podcast weekend event from Los Angeles.

Seems pretty clear not to be a misrepresentation.

"Baier, who is regularly in contact with both campaigns, said he is “getting the sense from him [Trump] and the campaign that they aren’t moving past it, and really the holdup is not the Harris campaign and Fox. It is the former president.”"

Sounds like a Harris Salad. Typical from The Hill. There is no agreement about another debate from either side.

My comment stands.

I would imagine that Trump is scared to death of the idea of a second debate, and will do everything in his power to avoid it. Harris goaded him, she baited the fat catfish, and he bit down on that hook so hard he mauled himself in the process.

They're eating the dogs.

They're eating the cats.

They're stealing your pets!

Lol, you said it was a misrepresentation, when he clearly stated the words.

Sure, stand by your comment, already proven nonsense.

Dont argue with trumpettes, they are racist hate ridden rednecks who should be squashed like bugs. Eradicated like Gina Raimondo says.

But, but, but...Trump says he "won" the debate with Harris.

And he said the 'audience' (there was none) was going crazy for him.

Surely he'd want to 'win' again?

Who really cares other than the self centered, self absorbed people of the US. The credibility and respect that the world once had for the country has vanished and has now become the world’s source of jokes, ridicule and entertainment. Forum topics like this attest to the sad state of affairs that “Merica” is in.

Credibility and respect dont exist for any country. The rest of the west is in a worse state than the US.

If I was in Trump's position, I wouldn't debate Comrade Kamala again. Why? Because she, my opponent, needs a second debate after messing up the first one with a biased pair of ABC moderators. I don't. Nobody knows her policies because she refuses to say them. In a second debate, she will simply lie again and again as she does in the Dem-Marxist media to smear Trump and to waste his debating time. Trump has made his policies clear. Everyone who wants to know them knows them. But who knows Comrade's economic policies? A second debate will only benefit the Dem-Marxist machine.

Trump needs to defer his next debate to his multiple criminal trials, albeit he won't dare to testify under oath.

Sounds like bro Bret is trying to push DT to close the deal, with himself as the mod.

The openly deceitful sort, lets see how far he gets.

How many posts from MAGA guys have stated that Harris won't dare debating Trump on Fox? Dozens.

Egg-on-face time, guys.😁

5555🤣.  That's funny, big time.  I'm not a Trumper, but I'll vote for him because VP Harris will be very bad for the country, unless you want a totalitarian / commie government.  From what I've read on other sites, Trump just doesn't see the need to debate her. End of story.  This is socialist / Democrat leaning / leftist Yahoo stirring up a story.

All ya have to do is see  how she voted and all her statements during the last election and before.  Anything she says now is mostly a lie in an attempt to move to the center of a political position.

All the Trump fanboys throw around the word 'marxist' like it's going out of fashion, yet they couldn't define the term if you put a gun to their heads.😆
