Really? So next year when I get back to the States I can't rent an apartment where I want and register to vote? Registering to vote is really easy, I can do it it when I get my driver's license right? And then before I leave if there's an election pending I can request an absentee ballot that I can fill out or I can get an absentee ballot packet online in several jurisdictions and drop it off in the embassy.

 

So how do I sound like I don't know state election laws. I sure as heck know the ones from where I am registered to vote since I just voted electronically. Is that what pisses you off? Is that what the demonstrates to you that I don't know what state election laws are? Tell me what nonsense I am mouthing off?
