Another Toni idea can you see all those lady bars registering their bar girls having to pay taxes  not a hope in hell !

Could be a win for the fake Thai ID industry.

When my Thai son was at uni he told me many times other, known to be untrustworthy, many known to be deeply in debt for football gambling, were approaching students trying to sell them fake cards.

One time an untrustworthy student asked to see my son's Thai ID card, son refused, son was concerned the fake ID seller wanted to copy son's obvious western family name.

  • Unfortunately even if it is decriminalized it will be a job probably reserved for Thais.   So sadly none of us on this forum will be able to get a job making love to sex tourists.

  • Regardless of what some people think of sex workers most of them have no skills and have family and children that need their income.  Why not give them some dignity? Why not define them as legitimate

Dang, and I was going to apply.   Not sure I could live on a weekly income of 101 Baht though.  Who would give me that odd 1 Baht?  All of them!

In New Zealand it is only legal for New Zealand Citizens to work in the profession. Foreigners entering the Trade do so illegally. I would hope Thailand would enact similar laws and make the age of 18 as minimum

Strolling down walking street and seeing all the Russian girls that work there, they certainly are not tourists!

I thought it did not exist like casinos or gambling illegal, In aust they made it legal yrs ago and since then they have got tax  and they can claim benefits too.

The new pm or daddy is now saying it exist today so lets get something of them

Same as weed.

Watch them legalize it without any forethought or finding a way to tax it.

People need jobs and income.

Indeed, there are plenty of jobs available everywhere, but you probably don't like to work.

Sitting in a bar with free drinks and occasionally checking the paintjob on the ceiling of their "customers", but that's not what Id call working.
