Indian Tourists Spark Outrage for Littering into Sea at North Pattaya Beach
It is very surprising that always when something like this happens, a battalion of Thai haters start accusing that the Thais do this and the Thais do that! So, does that justify that ALL foreigners should follow suit? In reality, we have to accept the fact that the Thais are in general clean - of course, there's always the exception to the rule, not only regarding Thais but any nationality. Another fact that we have to accept is, that the Indians aren't the most cleanest people on the planet - again, there are exceptions to the rule. This, I have first hand experience on my visits to India and whilst having some Indian colleagues at work. If anyone is seen littering, it is the responsibility of anyone around to object to that, IMHO. -

It was a scam
This scam probably started in the government land office or similar. The caller knew the address, name and telephone number of the house/land owner. -

Car recommendations
My last car in the USA was a very dependable Ford Escort. OK, it was the last model year, that it was completely made by Mazda Did have an F-150 that served me well, before all the anti pollution crap was mandatory on vehicles. So easy to self maintain. On Topic (as always) .... dependability should be a simple decision when realizing an ICE has ~2000 parts, and a BEV motor has ~20 parts, and seem to run forever. You have choices ... just choose wisely -

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
So what? The landlord received his money in both cases -- in one case, he was paid with a loan from the bank to the tenant; in the other, he was paid by a loan from a relative to the tenant. The TRD only wants to know the source of that cash flow, not how it ends up. And both of these situations are loans. And by the way -- revolving credit is still a loan: Revolving credit lets you borrow money up to a maximum credit limit, pay it back over time and borrow again as needed. If, as you say, it is not a loan -- then what is it? Certainly not assessable income. Not sure how you differentiate between borrowing money from my bank to buy a cheeseburger, using my Visa credit card -- and borrowing money from the same bank, to send to Thailand to buy a condo.... Having said that, using a debit card, like an ATM card, is a direct pull from your financial institution, and thus may be assessable income, depending on the source of those monies in your financial account. Thus, debit cards are certainly different from credit cards, or should be, in the eyes of the TRD.- 1

IMO It's assessable if funded with assessable income within the same tax year. -

Varnish floor
UPDATE: I will never use BEGAR paints or polyurethane again. After one season, the Begar Poly on the front of the deck that's facing the morning sun and gets rained on has completely weathered off. Even with 5 good full coats! I've switched to RTB Exterior water-soluble polyurethane. I think its far superior. Only time and the brutal Thailand weather will tell. But way easier to use and work with. More expensive, yes. German technology? RTB Eterior Polyurethane -

Trump will go after his perceived enemies
I hope he does and has them locked up. It is a scandal the way they have gone after him for next to nothing crimes while they ignored Hunter's lap top for years. -

Thailand Probes Thaksin's Alleged Political Manipulation
As i remember it the people voted in a fine young man who was not accepted for the job, not very democratic . But maybe Thaksin was involved in that too ? Any any event the following 2 puppets both seem destined to fall. So why not have another election and this time follow the peoples choice, and let this fine young man win again, and show the world there is no corruption involved.
