Trump Crumbles When Pressed on Economic Policy in Tense Interview

Bloomberg Editor-In-Chief John Micklethwait did not take it easy on Trump, and it quickly became clear that the former president has no conception of the mechanics of or the potential ramifications of the economic platform he’s running on.

Bluntly, the former president was incoherent when pressed with real questions about his policies.

Micklethwait spent most of the interview attempting to break Trump out of what the former president repeatedly referred to as “the weave,” his term for his rambling digressions — with ever-decreasing intelligibility — and general inability to focus on a given topic for more than a few seconds during his rallies and interviews.

post a video of the interview rather than some leftwing hack 'interpretation' of it

show me one of Harris getting hostile questions and grilled in the same manner as El Trumpo

The whole embarrassing mess is available on the Bloomberg YT channel. Trump starts about an hour in.

Trump was not getting hostile questions and grilled in that interview.
John was overly polite and respectful, and indeed let Trump ramble on various occasions, even after being insulted by Trump.
He was just trying to keep Trump on point, and to fact check when Trump started lying, which began after the first question.
Trumps modus operandi is just to start talking, (and sniffing), and to keep rambling, (and sniffing),  and not let the interviewer take back control.
His "weave" ramblings remind me of  Grampa Simpson, except Simpson is just a comical cartoon character....oh wait !!!

It was a good interview. Mickelthwait pressed Trump on some issues, held his feet to the fire, and asked good follow up questions. Trump parried and stuck to his guns. It was a good, spirited back-and-forth.  Nothing wrong with that. A President should be able to handle it.

A pity that Harris declined the same invitation. We shall see how she does with Bret Baier.

Yes, a good interview but if that was an example of Trump 'handling it' (as you seem to indicated) then I shudder to think what he looks like when he doesn't handle it.

There's no way Trump's staff were high-fiving each other when that interview was done.

What is the world coming to when a potential leader of the free world

1. Can't lie freely and

2. Is fact checked on those lies.

I despair at times.

if only 'fact checking' was done equally.

more anti Trump nonsense from the derangement brigade,

you'll never see 'Harris & tense interview' as a news headline thats for sure, she gets softballs just like sniff joe did!

Indeed, other sources claim Trump destroyed the Bloomberg clown. The only candidate I have seen crumble is Kamala, you would have to be a fool or a traitor to vote for madame word salad. People need to put the country before party loyalty, there is no way Harris is capable of being President.

Trump is so mentally incompetent that he insists that tariffs won't be paid for by consumers but by... well it's not sure if he means the importers or the countries of their origin. But either way, this is the kind of thing that an elementary school child could see is nonsense.

if they're so bad why did Biden keep them, Why did Biden implement 100% tariff on Chinese EV's, exactly what Trump had said weeks earlier in the 'bloodbath' speech
