Do you like female TV pundits commenting on men's football matches

Eye candy Female pundits are becoming more prevalent on  tv commenting on men's football. matches.

Personally i prefer ex players as pundits in the men's game and wish female

pundits would stick to commenting on woman's football matches.

Ultimately, what matters most in sports punditry is expertise, knowledge, and communication skills, not gender.

No  .......     I don't like them commenting about anything.

I'm a baseball fan....It makes no difference to me if the sideline reporter asking a few questions is male or female.... However, I've yet to hear a female play by play broadcaster that I can stand to listen to for more the a few minutes.....It completely turns off the game for me.....

If youre talking about american football no that will never happen. As for soccer though, those guys falling down and clutching their shin for a yellow card might as well be announced by females. A sport for wimps

We have Female Rugby League "Pundits" in the Rugby League Competitions in Australia and have had for a fair stretch of time.  The Women's Rugby League Competition is also very well patronised and they play good football.

Women's Cricket and "Pundits" commentating on mens matches are also well received.  Asha Guha who played for England is a  very good commentator.

I agree that soccer players dropping at the slightest touch might as well be "sheilas" but you Yankees with your helmets, pads everywhere and stop starts aren't much better.  That's not how to play football.

Without helmets and pads the sport would be deadly. These are the fastest and strongest people in the world

You must have never watched a State of Origin - Queenslander!!!!

Punditry not an issue....not interested anyway.

Commentary a different matter, like to watch/listen to a football match without the endless verbose dribble of some Doris. with a grating voice of the "know what I mean ain't it " genre.

If they are extremely good looking I suppose we can give them a token role.

And aged 18-22.  No older ones.

In the same way American Football is the wimpy version of Rugby?

Class !

Women should be in the kitchen. And when they re not there, they should be concentrating on improving their knitting skills.

If they know what they're talking about, no problem, but it's hard listening to Karen Carney's awful voice!! Most co-commentators talk too much and just say the obvious. They're not really required.

I find them irritating, especially when they put on a deep manly voice and use all the tired old cliches to try and sound like a "football person".

I also find their commentary weak. How can you commentate on something you've only done at a much lower level?

Nah, let them interview players after the game (if the interviewer is attractive) but no commentary please, I have to turn the sound off.
