Hi everyone,

As a foreigner looking to sell my pickup truck here in Pattaya  Chonburi . I'm a bit unsure about the process, especially regarding the legal aspects and paperwork involved.

Could anyone please share their experience or knowledge on the following:

  • Necessary documents: What documents are required for a foreigner to sell a vehicle in Thailand?
  • Vehicle transfer process: How does the vehicle transfer process work, and are there any specific procedures to follow?

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I sold mine at the auction place.

Price for a 15 year old Toyota was not great, but no hastle. They did everything and all over on the Auction day.

Copy of visa stamp page – signed.

Residency cert

Power of attorney - Signed.

Vehicle Transfer – signed.

Signature in blue book.

You might want to list it for sale in the motoring forum

someone was looking for an old pickup to use on their farm last week

no need to pay auction fees if it sells on here
