World's best at logistics. O'Hare airport is mind-blowing. Best food in New Orleans, with Cajun and Creole cuisine. Food served in excessive portions, no wonder many Americans are obese. Houston has the history of the skyscraper. Palpable racial hatred in the northern cities.

I could go on for quite a while, IMO that's enough. Your turn.

Go on. I have plenty of time.

The US has been living on debt for too long. Someone has to sort it.

Is that man the one that lives on debt himself and has had multiple bankruptcies? 😂

Next few years are going to make fascinating viewing.

Ok so Trump won the election. He has the Senate and will probably get control of the House too. He controls the  Supreme Court. There are no longer any checks and balances. Is that a good thing, for any political party to have an absolute control? The USA has lurched to a one party rule without any need to compromise. Just as some groups protested and filed multiple lawsuits during the Democrat administrations, it can be expected that some groups will do similar with the Trump administration.

Beware the peril of hubris. There are decisive  elections in 2 years that will determine the control of the House and the Senate. A disruptive nasty 2 years could result in a swing the other way and then Trump has a lame duck presidency.

Just that statement make clear how mentally challenged you are. How could you possibly know what I believe about Trump?

Let me guess, you are one of those MAGA believers. It's all about believing. Facts don't matter.

Oh, name calling, that’s a real convincing argument..

I thing you are at least reasonably bright, and I do not think you are a liar, that is how I know what you believe about Trump. You have been telling me for months,

Every thing you believe seems to be standard issue CNN.

What facts support Trump being a fascist?

The President controls only the Executive branch. The Judicial and Legislative branches are independent.

They were not incompetent. The US trend is one of anger and resentment. Even though the US economy is improving, inflation tamed and interest rates are  decreasing, there was a negative perception. The Democrats did not speak with a unified voice and there were multiple competing agendas. What Trump did was to ensure that there was only one message. His message and only  his. No dissent was allowed and those who opposed were purged. Much of the Democrat loss was self inflicted  and , frankly well deserved. The  Hamas/Hezbollah supporters who vilified the administration now have the rewrd of  seeing how far they get with Trump. The urban activists who always had some trendy  cause to shove on people, succeeded in alienating otherwise moderate people.

What the electorate giveth, it will taketh away. Wait until the  madness of RK Jr. is unleashed at the health department. Once the pain of the  abortion bans is seen and the impact of tariffs felt, attitudes will change.

I am guessing when Harris made Trump look stupid in the presidential debate, that actually rebounded against her in the minds of white voters.

Stop playing the race card , voters thought that Trump would make a better President than Harris would .

Dems tried to play the race card by having her run for POTUS , had they nominated someone more capable, thy might have won .

The Supreme Court is now controlled by Trump appointees or Trump supporters.

A Republican controlled House  which approves a  Trump budget and a republican controlled Senate which  approves the Judicial appointments, Cabinet Secretaries and other government officials  will not challenge  Trump.

It is a system that will no longer have checks and balances.

I don't think the Democrats had an alternative to Harris. It was a last minute change and allowed the  money raised for Biden to be transferred to the Harris campaign. There really were not any viable candidates available to step in at the last minute.

Had Biden run,  Trump would have steamrollered him.

Funny, all these sour grapes here and the need to rehash old points imagined in Harris' favor. 'Twould be uttlerly absurd to expect a gracious concession, best wishes to Trump, and hope for his success.

It's over. The DNC will soon come up with new lies, hoaxes, impeachments, lawfare, maybe riots and assassinate attempts to savor. Patience.

What happen to all that voter fraud you all were swearing would happen. Suddenly when Trump wins there was no fraud at all.

Hypocritcal a hole positions you all took to try to cover your backsides in case he lost.  He won and god help you all over the next four years for the choice you made and the dismantling of the American legal system along with damage to most other govt agencies he doesnt like.  Just remember you asked for this

Biden had been on the wane for the last 2 years of his Presidency , Dems should have thought about that 2 years ago and got themselves a suitable replacement  instead of having Joe going on about him keeping on going

You are delusional.

Obama’s first two years the court was left and dems controlled the house and senate .This will be no different.

In fact, the dems are much better at holding the party line than the republicans ever thought about.

Conservative justices are much less likely to try to legislate from the bench than are the liberals.

Many more Republicans went against Trump than Democrats went against Biden or Obama, and the left controlled the court for over forty years.

All the court is supposed to do is interpret the Constitution as it was intended.

In retrospect, I do not think Biden would have done any worse.

He should have resigned two years ago. That the left and Harris lied about his condition for so long hurt their credibility even more.

He won't escape fines from NY or money owed to E Jean Carroll either.

hahahaha, a dem judge let her get away with not knowing the date it happened, the time it happened where in the building it happened, everything that would have cleared trump and shown it was made up BS because he could not have been there, it was all a dem BS action backed by a dem supporter and dem judge & jury, same as virtually all the cases against him, NY judge refused to let trumps legal team show that he did not do anything wrong, he repaid the loan and the judge would not allow them to show the dems witness was wrong as well as the judge making up his own BS about real estate when he knew bugger all about it. Will all come tumbling down around their ears

There are several US states that have one-party (D) government, the largest being California but also Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, and others. No checks and balances there either, but I don't see Democrats complaining about it.

It seems that when new leaders get into office they say things will drastically change, stopping trade deficits, getting troops out of other countries immediately, making a 180 in fiscal policy, etc. What really happens is they see that any quick drastic change will turn the world upside down, for the worse. Most quick drastic change promises go by the wayside because realism sets in and they quickly realize that they won't doing this in a year or two. Change takes time, and sometimes the policies that are in place are working, just not in a timely fashion.

I am glad there will be checks and balances at the border, a bum rush vs orderly integration into society, which would you rather have?
