1/ Read your own post again. As sweeping generalisations go.....

2/ I should have put in a sarcasm alert.....

3/ Lefties worry about climate change. Right wingers think it is a hoax. Perhaps you can connect the dots.

4/ I'm hoping mine will do the same for MAGA's.

5/ It takes more than one conversation?

1. I've yet to hear a leftie talk rational about the right, or from facts.  This forum is a fine example.  Taking what I see and hear on the internet, and surely a bit bias.

2. probably wouldn't help

3. CC .. it's the climate, it changes.  Current rainy season shift here / TH is evidence of that.  MMGW, now that's total BS ... IMHO ... and no need to discuss my thought, yet again.

4. Try to force your views on righties, and you'll have no problem developing a nice aura.  I can discuss & disagree or agree with anyone.

5. I did state 'a couple', as one conversation probably won't bring up any left or right opinions.  Who pushes their 'agenda' on first contact with a stranger.

On second thought, in 4 or 5 months when I visit Europe, likely Donald Trump will have thrown the Ukraine under the bus to Vlad Putin, so likely ugly. The imminent destruction of NATO, leaving Europe to fend for themselves, all for personal game; the rights to build some Trump hotels in Moscow & St. Petersburg, and or, whatever Putin has on Trump. Putin definitely has something. Putin is ex KGB after all and would not miss an opportunity to ensnare an ignorant foolish man, who has the self restraint of a child, like Donald. It seems like a movie but it's real.

Explaining Trump is the easy part. Explaining why Americans would elect such a dangerous despicable person another altogether. On the other hand, the fact that I live OS, since another Republican nutter invaded Iraq & effed up the region (& US reputation) makes it easier. I have experience explaining  the idiot winds that sweep across North America.

Well I think most non Americans understand that the US is a divided country but in most cases they won't know which side of the divide any random American they meet is on. Do they care? Some do and some don’t.

You REALLY need to stop posting your political opinions if you want to save even a gram of credibility.

Ukraine was lost the day it was pushed into provoking Russia on it's border.

It's done. Trump already negotiating in background. Calls made to Zelensky.

If for no other reason US will no longer fund the folly meat grind.

Vladimir thanks you.

Would you please stop making sense ... that's 2 post now.

I couldn't even reply to the post you did, as just too silly, start to finish.

You just keep on with the Harris/legacy media line. Sooner or later you will get over the tantrum you're throwing and I'm fairly certain that many on this forum is hoping for the former. If he is such a threat to democracy why is that the Whitehouse is saying they are looking forward to a peaceful transfer of power and why can't you say the same thing. What is it that breeds so much bitterness in you.

Hard for me to process how dumb your question is.

That's what decent real American presidents do.

They participate in the peaceful transition of power when they lose.

Unlike Trump.

Democracies sometimes fall by way of democratic votes choosing autocracy.

It happened in Hungary. Orban is a darling of the magadonians.

It now happened in the US.

WOW, so weak.

 I'm no enemy of Russia.

I am an enemy of the US MiC and coup the US foisted upon Ukraine, Biden family dealings, Obama machinations all the way back to first term. All for mineral wealth as Lindsey Graham stated clearly.

It's like when Colin Powell held up that vial. Same rubbish.

Stop clowning around. Lives are at stake.

Well, zero people have asked me to rationalize it and with Dems Gabbard, Kennedy, et Al on board speaks for itself.

Every friend and acquaintance I have (non US and US) abroad are pro Trump. I'd known these people for well over election cycle. The world is very pro Trump. You just can't see it because you're totally delusional and your post history demonstrates that.

The people that loathe trump are basically either broke dusties and or gay activists.

Arabs, Jews, Russians, E Europe, Argentina.. the whole of TikTok. The ones against are just following their tired broken political agendas.

Yes, I'm US citizen but OH NO! Not THAT KIND! Haha the drama and pearl clutching lol

Move on brokie

Most of America's traditional democratic allies are very much anti Trump.

What's a brokie?

Please focus on one part of your own comment ".....when they lose." This is the crux of the matter. Harris lost and the loss was massive. Time for you to realize this, let go of your hatred and move on. This is what well adjusted and rational adults do.

It's not a divided country. It sung with one voice very clearly.

Again, more delusional thinking

Old Europe? Seriously, who cares. They're already calling with well wishes and ass kissing

Keir Starmer called before polls closed.

Because they're forced to deal with him.

Look at polling. Overwhelming dislike of Trump in western countries.

Who cares and why would they? Trump gonna take away free military and slap tarrifs on the bastards.

We don't need Europe, they are a liability. The next century is Asia.

You're wrong.

It remains very much divided.

You're wrong about everything. Why would you think you'd be correct on this? Even New York and California went 40% for Trump. MANY battleground states FLIPPED. I think all!

Trump will garner 75M votes.

Most of my friends in the US are hard left, my best most trusted friend of many decades is no different than you on his political views, yet our differences of opinions are just different opinions without prejudice and has nothing to do with who and what we are , just regular people with friends and families. Cutting out individuals for having different opinions is your loss, yours alone.

So I will now make a request.

If Trump throws Ukraine under the bus he's telling the world including China that US commitment to allies is worthless.

This just again demonstrates you know absolutely nothing about geopolitics.

And BTW Ukraine is/was never an ally. Just like Israel is not an ally

No.

I didn’t get any original ideas addressing the actual topic here.

So as I didn't,  I'll just play it by ear on a case by case basis.
