Good idea having a sandwich and baguette shop and having Sandwich in the name makes perfect sense to me.

Hopefully it's a good location like Buakhao, definite gap in the market, make sure you get the pricing right

Thanks Mate - one is planned for there early next year but first is on the Darkside.

Yeah, I thought about Serious Sandwiches - it's a good name that.

I don't think that its a good idea to have sexual connections in a sandwich shop name .

"Big juggs and a bite to eat"

"A 12 inch satisfier that isnt gay"

Nah, not good to mix food and sex

Out of interest, why a sandwich shop in Pattaya?

What percent a year do you expect to make on investment?

(Genuine question, I am not much of a businessman. Just always fascinated by people's ideas.)

I'd personally open a massage place.

Just imagine the margins on that kind of business: a mattress, a bottle of oil, and a woman (who doesn't even get a salary).

Anyway, to answer your question, I'd go with: Fill my Sandwich, ka!

The Sandwich Club is good but there is one on Phuket already.

I asked ChatGPT, and came up with these suggestions:

  1. Bread & Beyond
  2. Slice of Life
  3. The Sandwich Spot
  4. Stacked & Stuffed
  5. Roll & Bowl
  6. The Melt House
  7. Sub Street
  8. Pressed & Dressed
  9. Crust & Crave
  10. The Daily Bite
  11. Grill & Fill
  12. The Bread Box
  13. Urban Loaf
  14. Crunch & Munch
  15. Bite Right

!

When making my own sandwiches , I always found the ingredients to be rather expensive when buying from a supermarket .

Cost a couple of 100 Baht just to make a baguette

Keep the board posted as to your opening and location. I love a good sandwich. I really miss a good warm Ruben sandwich or corned beef sandwich.

I wouldn’t use anything with “sandwich” in the name personally.  And nothing with too many syllables.

if you google “best sandwich shops” in the US, what stands out to me is that very very rarely do they have sandwich in the name and if they do, it is usually something that can be shortened down to the one word  (the owners name for example)

some iconic places in LA & NYC

Tommy’s Burgers….Tommy’s

Pink’s Hot Dogs…..Pinks

Katz’s deli…..Katz’s

Zabar’s

If your sandwiches are good…the name won’t matter.   You won’t need sandwich in the name for people to know about it or to be googleable.

Yeah not many of them about

Sunrise Sandwiches

Seaside Sandwiches

Siam Sandwiches

Sandwiches of Siam

Sincity Sandwiches

Sexpat Sandwiches

Knuckle Sandwiches

Can we name the sandwiches next?

That's exactly why ChatGPT is a waste of time.

Have a look here and see if you find something to your liking.

Try Thai Sandwich.

This might bring in both the hungry and those expecting something more exotic.

That is very good name for a company targeting the Thai sandwich market.

Sounds like a sexual perversion to me.  But maybe that's just me.

The moto could be, "If you want to keep your woman happy, take her to get her baguette stuffed!"

Somebody should start a new franchise for the 100 ex-subway franchisees who had their contracts cut short by the new owner.

Similar to how The Pizza Company was born after an issue with Pizza Hut.

Submarine Sandwiches?

Or Anotherway 😃

Or maybe Damnaam?

Keep it traditional.

"Make me a sammich!"

McDonald's = name of a person

you can use your name or the name of your gf/wife

what type of sandwiches? you can include the name of a city like New York to give it the aura of sandwiches from a place famous for sandwiches

That would instantly put me off.  American sandwiches are pretty universally dreadful.  No butter.  Bland fillings.  Dry and tasteless.

What about "The Earl of Sandwich" to reference the English roots of the sandwich?

The Bomb Sandwich in a NYC joint. This looks like bliss.

No one has heard of the The Earl of Sandwich except for geeks like you.

Same with me. But I remember Cheap Charlie in Soi 11, and that was always busy. There are lots of people out there who are not willing or not able to pay a lot. It's like coffee. For some 100B or more is fine, for others, 30B is already a lot.

And whatever he wants to do, he won't be able to make it cheap and good. So, decide what you want.
