Most of you people live in a Continuity Bubble.  You don't grasp how close we are to nuclear war.

Possibly,  but on the other hand the constant threat of it is also a useful tool,  for some

I don't think so. There's nothing in it for Putin. If he uses a small tactical nuke in Ukraine, let's say Dnonesk, the US, it's allies and NATO can respond with a massive conventional weapons retaliation much in excess of the damage a small tactical nuke would cause. Crimea could be flattened in a day. Of course we have got here because the lame duck Biden has decided escalation not negotiation is the way to go. I wonder what would happen if Putin uses a tactical nuke within Russia? Kursk for example.

He’ll listen to Trump.  You should too.

Biden, not so much as he stumbles around Brazil.

Laughable that Putin will wait 2 months to have a conversation with Trump. One day in a war is a long time. Innocent lives, mostly Ukraine civilians have been lost by Russia in discriminate and disproportionate missles attacks. Long range missles attacks authorised by Biden is long overdue and used to attack Russia military assets.

Oh you're back after your total loss on 5th Nov, have your heads finally stopped?

Putin called for peace talks from the beginning, could have happened on 04.22, but Biden refused, all deaths since are on your USA heads.

They have been exposed for being the weak ass punk b*tches that they truly are.  Russians talk a big game but are so inept and corrupt to be a joke, literally, to the real players.  An annoyance, to be tolerated, at best.

Poor Vlad. His conventional weapons have proven such a disappointment on the battlefield that all he has left is to brag about his nuclear arsenal, in the hope the world takes him seriously.

What's really amusing is that most of those saying that Ukraine should surrender are the same ones who happily label the French "surrender monkeys".

Apples and oranges.

Russia just launched the first wartime ICBM armed with Multiple Independently-targetable Reentry Vehicles (MIRVs), in this case conventionally armed.  They could be nuclear.  You people really, really don't grasp this.  The instrument to launch nuclear weapons has must been launched and has just delivered a payload to Dnipo (Dnepropetrovsk) in Ukraine destroying a missile manufacturing factory.  HELLO!!!  Russia is not bluffing.  I give it 50/50 that we all die before Jan 20, 2025.  Wanna know why? Because the average smucks in the West continue to root their governments to conquer Russia even as we are on the cusp of nuclear Armageddon.

I know. I was the 1st one to post about this and yes it was a nuclear capable ICBM. I fully grasp that it's nuke capable but obviously it wasn't armed as such. It's Putin sending a message. I can use ICBMs. He's lowered the threshold also. But it's is just Putin chest beating. He WILL NOT deploy nukes. What's the point. A ceasefire and negotiations are less than two months off. What Biden has allowed Zelenski to do is completely reckless but will neither lead to nuclear war or a conventional WWIII. If you think we have a 50% chance of being obliterated before Jan 20 then you need to take a chill pill or seek medical help. The saddest thing is what Biden has done will result in more deaths than otherwise would have been the case when the goal should be NO deaths.

Thanks. At least you acknowledge that I have a real chance to not look foolish on here.

The chance that a cynical and dishonest nature, due to an unfortunate combination of DNA, sadly denied you.

Nobody except the countries arming Ukraine to the teeth.

Do you really think they care about Ukraine?

I think most of them think about making sure Putin does not start war with any "important" countries and making lots of money with the arms trade.

How many people (especially in the USA) did know Ukraine exist and could find it on a map before the invasion? I bet very few. And if Ukraine would not exist anymore, few would notice.

That does not reflect my personal opinion. It's just how international politics, especially with our leader of the world, the USA, works.

And this is your genius plan to defeat Russia, right? To launch a direct attack on the city of Kursk using American troops and the latest American missiles - and then simply saying that Moscow is bluffing and not ready to push the button? So genius.
Z Russians are happy to have such predictable and straightforward opponents.

If Russia uses tactical nuclear weapons, it will be exhausted by the war in Europe and will lose. Someone in the West for some reason decided that Putin is stupid and does not understand such obvious and elementary things.

Then brilliant American minds suddenly decided that Putin is not only stupid but also a coward and in response to the direct american attacks on Kursk he will s**t in his pants and not press the button.

In fact, Putin simply always pauses so that his military response is understood and supported by the people and the opposition cannot organize a revolution based on the fact that people in Russia misunderstood something. This pause is always there and there will always be a temptation to interpret it as weakness.

Nevertheless, the most recent Trump/Biden`s Good cop/bad cop tactic looks like an attempt by the West to use its brains and not just go straight ahead.

Correct. Ukraine is a buffer zone. It will never be part of NATO. This will be part of the deal Putin brings to the table.

Like him or loath him he's obviously a skilled negotiator and a natural deal maker, he knows how to manipulate people and how far he can push them.

That really explains who the man is.

They wouldnt if they spent 60yrs  watching US or UK news, which is most on here. With the internet and satellite TV channels people  have the world at their finger tips,  but most stick on their msm channels.

The struck on the city of Kursk was to take out the command post of the Russian forces in the Kursk region. It was a strategic move by Ukraine. The cruise missles were UK not US and there were no troops deployed in the attack.
