Worst I've come across, several years ago in a restaurant in Pattaya. Farang at next table asked my Thai female friend to help him communicate with his Thai GF.
The crux he shared: 'I met her 2 weeks ago, she couldn't speak one word of English so I get her into a small English school in Pattaya. Only 10 students in the class. Then he shared that they have no books or handouts and the class isn't divided at all by existence English level.
Then he shared "She's been going to English class 3 days a week, 2 hrs per lesson for under 2 weeks, but she still can't speak English. I think she's just lazy."
Free speech and expressing your own opinion for ongoing historical conflicts through any newspaper union is actually on topic and can't be dismissed by the management...
Unless you are in the 30's and 40's then I would say she is just being polite. You go to a bar then you know you are getting lied to to boost your ego. I was 51 when I married my 37 year old wife - she was well educated and not a bar girl, I would not think a younger girl would be interested in an old man (if you are over 65 unless she is working in a bar. Happens , yes, but ask yourself what on earth she sees in you other than a good customer.
Some times there are empty property for rent, when for example there has been an over-investment compared to actual market – look for example at China – building apartments for rent is not a short process like buying an already existing condo, it's years of planning ahead. Probably, no one had included a COVID-pandemic in their long-term planning.
Long-term investors, with good financial foundation, might also think it's better just to wait a few years to market change and get the calculated return and make a profit, rather than panic and rent out with a loss. However, if the capital foundation is not solid enough, the investor has a problem, again look at China.
Mortgage or interest of the investor's own funds is around 6%. Mortgage-interest can change with market, while long term investors calculate with 6%-7% pay-back per year, the same figure as long stock stock investment pays; look for example at a 100-year stock average.
Decided to escape to Pattaya for March and April to avoid the smokey season in Chiang Mai. Looking for a comprehensive tutoring school / cram school for a 15-year-old student who speaks Thai and English. Does anyone know of a tutoring center, or school that is in the p a t t a y a area? Thank you very much.
makes me proud to be british , if there's a way around it a Brit will find it. There appear to be so many on here who are so excited about this that they just can't wait to hand over some cash, Presumably they will then feel further justification whilst preaching to the rest of us or virtue signalling to like minded others
