It was a very difficult ship to turn, but finally got the wife off the slurpy noodle diet as with the white rice

Good stuff.  I hear white rice is not particularly nutritious.

Only 9th, we can't have that - have to get TAT on the job and lift that number to No1.

It would probably be higher if they calculated it per capita.

4 billion pa is roughly a pack a week for every Thai. I never knew there was a World Instant Noodle Association.

The World Instant Noodles Association (WINA) has announced that Thailand is the ninth largest consumer of instant noodles in the world. Released on December 2, the list ranks the top 15 countries based on their annual instant noodle consumption. In Thailand, people consume around 4 billion packets each year.

A sad situation to say instant noodles are the go to food.

I see the forum food experts are active in this thread, and declaring MSG as unhealthy, although there is no evidence for that, and in fact it is healthier than salt which is commonly used by westerners.

True. Somebody in the western medical world decided msg was not good for you, and it's stayed that way ever since. It's just umami, the Japanese 5th taste.
