For context, here was the 2016 edition. Thank you for everything, Mister President, and godspeed.

Its NOT the Best person of the year . It's the person who had most influence . Could be Mandela, Hitler or Mother Teresa .

  • I wonder how much he paid for that... He is DEFINITELY NOT the man of the year! In reality it should have been 'Criminal of the Century'!

Dont believe the lies , the Trump haters spew!

“You are not convicted until the judge enters that judgment of guilt”.

https://nypost.com/2024/06/08/us-news/yale-law-professor-says-trump-isnt-a-convicted-felon-despite-guilty-verdict-heres-why/

There is an ongoing case in Hawaii where Michael Miske was found guilty of 13 felonious counts and died in detention while awaiting sentencing.  The court ruled that his seized assets much be returned.  Why?  Because he was not considered a CONVICTED FELON because he had not been sentenced.

I’ll bookmark this along with the other legal experts, ( Goldman & Law professor  from Yale) same statements..

Thanks

“He’s technically not convicted until he’s been sentenced,” veteran island defense attorney, Victor Bakke, said Monday.

Yeah I explained this on here awhile ago to some of our legal experts. The judgement is entered by the judge at the time of sentencing. There are a few reasons for this i won't get into because it would be a waste of time. But  they love the term convicted felon as dumb as it is.

Trump was convicted of a felony, that's what makes him a convicted felon. You can argue technicalities all you want. If you prefer, we can say:

Trump was found guilty of 34 felony counts.

Former President Trump was found guilty on all counts in his historic and unprecedented criminal trial, making him the first former president of the United States to be CONVICTED of a crime.

The Hawaii case is irrelevant, as these things are decided by state courts under state law.

Trump lives in Florida, where he is considered a convicted felon. Period.

Oh no! What shall I do:cheesy:

Your posts are on the same level of kids who watch professional wrestling and think it's real, so I'll keep reading so I can laugh.

Keep crying those oh-so-delicous tears of impotent rage. The estrogen and high soy content make them even more delicious.

Here's a reminder from April 14 1941 (remind me what the world was engaged in then?):

Miske was tried and convicted in a U.S. District Court.

Not a surprise really - after all, everyone was talking about him for the whole year and more - whatever topic started any conversation.
