Rescue volunteers from the Sawang Rojanathammasathan Foundation were alerted to a stabbing incident at approximately 03.00 on December 14, in front of a house at Kilometre 7 in Plutaluang Subdistrict, Sattahip District, Chonburi. Upon arriving at the scene, they discovered a 23-year-old man, Mr. Wimon, injured with three stab wounds on his body. He had been attacked with a sharp metal object, sustaining injuries to his left arm, waist, and back.

Rescue personnel quickly transported Mr. Wimon to Queen Sirikit Naval Hospital for urgent medical care.

According to the victim, he was riding his motorcycle home along Road 332 near the Kasemphon intersection, heading toward Plutaluang, close to the Bang Saray Subdistrict Municipality Office. A group of teenagers, riding three to four motorcycles, approached him aggressively, revving their engines and cutting him off. The group forced him to stop, and several members began assaulting him. Mr. Wimon attempted to defend himself using his hands and feet.

As the confrontation escalated, additional members of the group arrived and attacked him with a sharp metal object resembling a blade. The attack ended when passing vehicles startled the assailants, prompting them to flee the scene. Mr. Wimon managed to ride his motorcycle to his home at Kilometre 7, where he sought help and contacted rescue services.

Initial investigations were conducted by Pol. Lt. Thanit Theepakdee, Deputy Inspector of Sattahip Police Station, who filed a report and notified Pol. Col. Thanaphon Klinkasorn, Superintendent of Sattahip Police Station. Authorities have since launched an investigation and mobilised a task force to identify and apprehend the teenage gang involved.

The police have emphasised the severity of this case, labelling it as a brazen and lawless act that must be addressed swiftly to ensure justice and public safety.
