Most people talk of Facebook marketplace, and maybe Baht & sold.

Would you like to be able buy & sell items on Asean Now ?

What concerns would you have about using such a marketplace ?

If there were Q: "Would you be buying" results would be greater.

Appliances too.

And there should be a section for free items too. Sometimes I have very useful items that I just don't want anymore and will be happy to give away if somebody takes them.

A musical instrument category would be good, especially one for buying and selling guitars and associated gear.  I think there’s a sizeable number of farangs in Thailand who play guitar and other musical instruments for a hobby and would be interested to buy and sell gear locally in Thailand on a platform other than Facebook Marketplace.

Just do it

Asian antiques listing would be nice, with subcategories like Chinese, Japanese, etc.

Why should we have to take a photo of anything we want to sell?

I have no interest in photography and wouldn't know how to send a photo.

I would worry that Richard would use it to show up at my place and chew my ear off.

It might be good for some farang type items.
Not many Thais would bother as Thai language is banned and most Thais can not read English.

You dont have to post a picture; its just recommended that you do as that will mean a higher chance of selling it if people can see what you are offering. it also kind of proves it actually exists, and people can see the condition, etc.

The issue I have with FB marketplace is the lack of integrity with local sellers.  Some of it is language translation and some of it is obvious dishonestly.   B&S tends to have a more farang group whereas you can communicate and mostly understand the honest representation of items being marketed.

Asean Now Marketplace may offer expanded solicitation from Farang group.

Looking at the number of responses, I think there is only a very small chance of selling anything, less than 150 people, including myself have responded to this.
Martpace, is not admissible for me because I am not connected to Facebook.
The only thing left for me, regarding normal things is Bahtsold but even there the responses are minimal.
Frankly, I don't understand, apart from eBay, in the Netherlands there is also a ‘Marktplaats’,if you look on that how many people use that, everything you can buy and sell there in a short time frame, but here?
I really don't understand anything.
