A violent altercation early morning on December 21, left a foreign man injured outside a convenience store on Jomtien Beach Road, Soi 8, Nong Prue, Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province.

At approximately 05:20, authorities received a report of an assault involving a injury. Upon arrival at the scene, they found a foreign man, believed to be Norwegian and approximately 60 years old, sitting on the ground in distress. He was shirtless, wearing only denim shorts, and bleeding profusely from a deep gash on his left elbow caused by a sharp object.

Blood stained the pavement as rescue workers from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation rushed to provide first aid. Due to significant blood loss, the man was pale and was urgently transported to Pattaya City Hospital for treatment.

According to eyewitnesses, the injured man had no identification documents, and no one in the area knew his name. Municipal officer Mr. Korbsak Uisawang, stationed at the Pattaya Marine Services Centre, revealed that a group of teenagers on motorcycles had reported the incident to him, requesting assistance. Upon investigating the scene, he discovered that the injury resulted from a domestic dispute between the foreign man and his wife.

The suspect, identified as 30-year-old Ms. Rasmee Wongsrithep, who is mute and disabled, reportedly attacked her husband during an argument that began elsewhere before escalating outside the convenience store. Nearby residents explained through sign language that Ms. Rasmee was enraged over her husband’s alleged infidelity with another woman.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident while the injured man receives medical care.

I would be faithful.

The usual punishment involving a knife and feeding ducks is far less appealing.

My mate and I scored a couple of mutes from the Marine Bar Disco. When our mates found out the next day, they asked us why, of all the stars available at the Marine Bar, we took home a couple of mutes. My mate, a plain-spoken Yorkshireman, dead-panned with, "We wanted a quiet night."
