Your attempt to politicize the Thai term (piw sii ผิวสี) is misguided. This term has been around for a very long time, and to the best of my knowledge it is a home grown term that was not adopted out of any pressures from abroad to be politically correct. It is simply a non-offensive euphemism to describe dark complected foreigners, usually of African descent.

politicize? just noticing. I find this very hard to believe though. I know Thai's adopt and adapt American slang and person of color only makes senes if you comparing them against people with white skin, i.e. no color. I've only ever heard Thai people say "black skin color" or black person, but never person of color which AKAIK is solely an American term to describe non-whites or what they used to call minorities (probably gearing up for the a non-white majority so the term minority is no longer relevant, there's a politicized something).

This is just one of the reasons why AI is so dangerous.  It is coming to the point that one does not know who or what to trust, especially anything from the government.

There is a lot of what about ism I'm often driving 2nd road beach road or 3rd road the amount of bikers with no helmets is probably 1helmet for 4 without. 

As said thais also get tickets but at a lesser % but if continuous fines is what it takes to comply let it be I'm sure some take the hint and start wearing a helmet may have saved a few lives I say let the checks continue

Not all black people come from Africa, so it's necessary to use various terms, I presume that calling someone black is a bad thing in thai culture, asian beauty standards value white skin so maybe it's something to do with that.
