There is a NYP survey  about the topic

The above could be viewed as a case of the pot calling the kettle black. While you may be pointing out issues that some Americans may perceive with the Democratic Party, many of the issues they mention could be seen as flaws in the Republican Party as well. For example, crime rates in Republican-led states like Texas and Florida have also increased, and the Republican Party has been criticized for stoking fears about migrants and transgender individuals without proposing meaningful solutions. So, it could be seen as hypocritical to accuse the Democrats of being "toxic" when the Republican Party has its own share of problems. Wouldn't it be more productive as a country to share common values that most humans aspire to instead of spreading hateful bile?

Bubblegum's post is called "Projection" and the Left is very good at it.  They claim that conservatives embody the toxic traits that they themselves espouse.

The majority of conservatives (left-of-center, centrists, and right-of-center are called "far-right" by the far-left and progressive forum members) can and will explain themselves and their point of views.  The progressive-left members will devolve into name-calling as they simply can not support their own point of view and refuse to engage in debate.  It just easier for them to drop a pejorative or use ad-hominid (personal, toxic) attack on those they disagree with.

That is why the OP is making his post.  And there is a lot of truth to this 👇

Thats why National Socialists are dubbed "far right" as opposed to "left", which is where they belong.

The call for unity followed by persecution. Nothing can be done with people who call for peace and then wage war.

Actually, National Socialists allied themselves with big business and stifled workers' rights. Much like Trump is planning on doing with his new tech bros.

It should read Much like the Bolsheviks did in Russia with industrial functionary bros.

Continually referencing your obsessive Trump derangement does not mask the vacuity of your posts.

So the fable goes. So they didn't dictate what could be produced and what level of profit could be made i.e. control the means of production.?

Were the Nazis Socialists?

Were the Nazis socialists? No, not in any meaningful way, and certainly not after 1934. But to address this canard fully, one must begin with the birth of the party.

Under socialism "they" would be the workers who would dictate what could be produced. Under the Nazis it was Nazi officials and industrialists who collaborated. As for Russia, once again, it wasn't the workers who had any say. To cover that up, the Bolsheviks justified their rule by calling it a Dictatorship of the Proletariat.

Perhaps a better question would be, "Why are toxic people so attracted to the Democrat party?".

You nailed it.

Why is this schoolboy allowed to post headlines of this nature.....surely this title should read

Do some people think the Dem Party is now toxic

or

Many people thing the Dem Party is toxic

or

Is the Dem party now considered to be toxic?

Not "the Dem party is toxic".

I'm sure if I posted

Everyone thinks Trump is a rapist, but he escaped justice on a technicality........it would be promptly taken down.

I've been following both subject on this forum and in fact the Republicans do have solutions

They want to stop illegal ( you missed that part ) immigrants at the border.

They want to stop people drugging and mutilating children that may be confused about their sexuality. State money should never be used to mutilate people for any reason whatsoever.

Option 5: The Dem Party is only toxic in the minds of deranged teenagers locked in their mums basements.

Perhaps because a lot of us think that it is toxic.

However, you are always entitled to use the report function and ask a mod to change the title.

You seem to be getting exercised about not much at all. It's called Soap Box for a reason. If it were serious it's be called by a serious title.

If some poster says something that you don't like on here, the best action is either move on to something else or report it. Bitching about it is a bit pointless.

Just remember this isn't the UN Security Council.

True...rare to see people bitching on here......especially about comments made to other posters that are nothing to do with them.

So did the US and UK during the war, it's called war economy...

Where the nazis would stand on a left-right scale is debatable, but I haven't heard of any informed person call the nazis a left wing party

Why is the Dem party so toxic?

A more interesting question might be......

"If the Dem Party is so toxic, why did Trump only enjoy a slender majority in the popular vote"?

Yes, absolutely was the case during the war in US and UK, but the Nazis did it on assuming power as a matter of ideology. Industry must serve the state. Hitler met with the leaders of Industry on his first or second day in office to assure them of his intentions (i.e. not state takeover) but it was them coming cap in hand to him, not as the fable goes, the industrial leaders being behind the rise of the Nazis as they saw war profits ahead. Donations to the Nazi party were a matter of pragmatism and against Communism.

arguments as to whether the NSDAP was Left or Right really depends on your definitions.Socialist as defined by intellectuals, it was not, it was however a grassroots working class nationalist party that also attracted the middle classes, as much/more as a bulwark against communism than even Nationalist ideology.

The Left will go out of their way to deny that the NSDAP was a party of the masses or use a definition of Socialism that suits. Anything to carry on the myth that it was supported by big business with war profits in mind and thus that the Right as supposedly the party of Capitalism/big business creates war. Large scale organised capitalism actually reduced wars as economies wealth could be expanded without conquering territory.

For this topic & thread ,its about the losers, the party that was once called the party of JFK the same party that flaunted Martin Luther King civil rights movement and his dream that one day

his children would be judged by their character and not their color of their skin, the opposite of DEI.

The extreme left of Biden, Harris and Obama and the activist pretending to

be journalist working for the many MSM outlets lost in a big way, and those four categories in the OP , is indicative of why!

I thought a career democrat , who could of run for Potus said it best…

“As Joe Manchin prepares to leave Congress after nearly 15 years, the West Virginia senator — who left the Democratic Party and registered as an independent earlier this year — is further distancing himself from his former party, calling the Democratic brand “toxic”.

God here we go again. No one is 'mutilating children'. The age for a sex change in the US (much like most of the western world) is 18. That is NOT a child. That is an adult. You know this (I've certainly pointed it out to you before) but you refuse to listen to facts, prefering sensationalist nonsense to try and score points.

And whilst we are on the subject, the Dems also wanted to 'stop illegal immigrants at the border' but just couldn't handle the sheer volume. But perhaps you would like to comment on the FACT the Dems deported more illegal uimmigrants than even Trump.  'US immigration authorities last year deported the largest number of undocumented immigrants in nearly a decade, surpassing the record of Donald Trump's first term in office. More than 271,000 immigrants were deported from the US over the last fiscal year, according to a report released by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency on Thursday.
