I have watched earlier seasons and thought it was hilarious, but I am a Danny McBride fan.

I'm watching Bad Monkey, which is about a suspended/ex-detective in the Florida Keys who is trying to get his old job back by investigating a wife for the possible murder of her husband for the insurance money. Based on a novel by Carl Hiassen, it's got a little bit of everything: romance, murder, family troubles, and some great locations (and a beautiful Mexican actress). Oh, and also a bad monkey. I like it anyway. Starring Vince Vaughn.

Is anyone going to take one for the team and tackle The Brutalist to see if its worth watching?

Nope, but I did watch 'Companion', essentially sexbot goes Terminator, which was quite fun.

I started it but gave it up.

 

I like Vince Vaughn but his character in this was over the top, talking at 100 miles an hour and everything he said laced with sarcasm, it wore me down !

 

Might give it another go though, now I know what to expect it might grow on me.

Severance - It's pretty brilliant.  But I do like odd-ball shows.  This is right up there with the British version of Utopia.

Not due until March i might revisit the previous 3 seasons, the old memory not what it was.

 

But i remember i liked it, so can recommend.

I'm with you. The first couple of episodes were OK but then it just got tiresome. My boredom threshold is extremely low these days.

I may give it a shot. Productions by "A24" are often pretty good.

I watched e02 last night, wife gave up on it first, wishing for the new episode of the “hotel” to drop, and my mind just wandered, just too much going on. Bambi is dead? Wt?

 

I thought Richard Gere was a good choice for The Agency but I thought DeNiro was just thrown in there to add to a bad concept.

There's also a voice over that some may find annoying. I learned to like it though. And Vince Vaughn isn't my favorite but he captured this character well. He's annoying but he's supposed to be.
