  • Mr Inbetween   https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7472896/   One of the best series I have watched in quite some time, an easy 8/10 for me.

  • When you get very old you can re-watch stuff from a month ago and have no idea that you have seen it before.

  • Wednesday......... is back, if you (or your kids have any  interest )   4 episodes out now ---4 episodes out in September

This 4 parter is getting excellent reviews.

Minute-by-minute Titanic sinking narrative through real survivor accounts, following 16 passengers parallel experiences, with each TV hour matching one hour aboard ship.

Have only been able to find Part 1 and Parts 4, Parts 2 and 3 seems to be missing.

Watched Fackham Hall and thought it was a pathetic attempt at a comedy and I was barely able to raise more than a couple of smiles thoughout the whole movie........the best being the Vicar's attempt at reading the marriage service, and then only just!! IMO very poor.

we all have different sense of humour

Same here.

I'm sure the rest will appear in a day or two.

I have the same reaction to Borat. But many people like that. Humour doesn't always travel as well as people.

I agree with your comment, but was only posting from my viewpoint. Good comedies for me are; "Only Fools and Horses; Fawlty Towers; The Thin Blue Line; Absolutely Fabulous (in small doses) and so on.........

Pretty sure all 4 episodes are available on BBC iPlayer.

Seems so  but I don't have an account there..so will have to wait.

The Thin Blue Line

I'll have to have a look at that.

Tehran season 3 episodes 1-5 have been on TPB for ages, but no sign of episodes 6,7,8. I haven't bothered looking at any of the available episodes to see what  languages of audio and subtitles are included.

The files on the torrent sites were on Israeli TV, they had fansubs on them, which were just mediocre, from what I remember.

Anyway, whatever, but I wonder what happened to make Apple change their minds. They weren't going to take on this series with the ongoing conflict.

It stars Rowan Atkinson in a "straight" role (well as straight as he can be) and it's written by Ben Elton and it gave me a few laughs......and the humour is also provided by a few others in it!! Hope you enjoy it.

PS> Available on BBC iPlayer and the usual download places.

Shouldn't be a problem.

There's lots of season packs on scene rls so it shouldn't be long.

Just coming to the end of it now. Most of the jokes are cringeworthy except Jimmy Carr's rare appearances, as you said.

Good attempt at bringing back the old British farce but it's too dated. It might work better in a crowded cinema but those days are gone.

I decided to delve into my movie collection and chose "The Accountant" with Ben Affleck and JK Simmons, with Anna Kendrick and was pleased that I did as I enjoyed it YET AGAIN!!

I can highly recommend this move to anyone who hasn't seen it and it is an an unusual movie (to say the least) and The Accountant is not what you think!!

Started to watch the American series The Blacklist and, while only halfway through season one, I find it fun and twisty. James Spader is great as the protagonist with many secrets and a weird thing going on with the female FBI agent Elizabeth.

It goes on for 10 seasons so it will be interesting to see how the twists work out.

Watched it yesterday & got fewer sniggers than I did from 'Fackham Hall'. He's stopped being funny in favour of being shocking/controversial.

I agree.

His last two stand up shows have been poor.
