Im sure it's like a real life fairy tale up there, but Trudeau DID freeze bank accounts of poor people supporting the trucker protest. Turns out the truckers and supporters were right to not want to be forced to inject muck. He was an effeminate fascist. Good riddance.

And just 1 day earlier the US junior men's hockey team beat Finland for the gold medal (2nd yr in a row) at the World Junior Hockey Championship in Ottawa, the capital of Canada.

Worth noting that Team Canada failed to earn even a bronze this year, despite having won gold 20 times previously.

Coincidence?

Go Team USA!!

Canada is a broken country thanks to this man and it's government. Worst current housing crises in the world, inflation up the roof, record high unemployment, etc.... Thank you for all the for all your work Trudeau.

Interesting.

From National Post 6/3/2022:

"Schwab has a thick German accent, eerily straight posture and a penchant to consistently claim that he deserves the Nobel Prize and has “infiltrated” governments around the world.

"Most notoriously, in 2017 he claimed he was able to “penetrate” the cabinet of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau by virtue of the fact that many of its ministers had once been members of the WEF’s Young Global Leaders program.  “I was at a reception for Prime Minister Trudeau and I know that half of his cabinet, or even more than half of his cabinet, are actually Young Global Leaders,” said Schwab in a widely circulated video."

That would be bliss if Elon's one man trolling of Starmer starts the process of his removal.

He, along with the MSM, did pretty much the same to Boris.

Yep, although Starmer is a trickier prospect. He is one slippery robot and just does not care. Go Elon!

It sure is a mental disease. All people should be able to express opinion, but when it all starts going one way and freedoms are threatened, as the past few years have shown, something is wrong.

Here's a question for you...  What do you have to make to qualify on an average mortgage in Canada, and what percentage of the population makes that much?

Here's another...  How many healthcare facilities across the border in the USA would go broke if Canadians didn't need them?

Obviously you have never used a Canadian hospital. The average waiting time in EMERGENCY in hospitals is from 6 to 14 hours, depending on the province.

The economy is in decline, housing is unaffordable, idiotic carbon taxes are looming, the Canadian dollar is in freefall.

The process started in November, before the Musketeer opened his mouth, with the 3million signatory petition for a new election!

Housing is out of reach for younger generations.

But if I was in my 20s / 30s, I would strive to work online and live a nomadic life and travel around the world rather than try to get tied down to over-priced mortgages.

Because the word "emergency" is subjective and probably a lot of people shouldn't even be in an emergency ward half the time.

I'm guessing they won't make you wait if you're dying. They're not totally heartless and insane, the medical folks.

Other situations, there is an average 15 week waiting period to see a specialist, after being referred by your family doctor. Need cataract surgery? Prepare for a 10 month plus wait.  For neurosurgery, it is more than a year.

Not in the least. Trump has had no impact. Polling shows that a majority of Canadians are unaware of the threat presented by  Trump. Trudeau's decision was made in mid December when he cancelled all of the year end media inerviews. This was reported on previously. Also, the succession plan was to bring in Mark Carney last summer, but the. Finance minister Chrystia Freeland who had designs on being PM resisted. Carney will be annoited saviour at a general convention shortly and the Conservatives who are likely to win the next general election will  just barely  squeak in.

People are angry and fickle. They are quick to  turn on governments. How else can you explain  the Labour government majority in the UK, or  the hypocritical international menace Lula da Silva's win inBrazil.  Chile switched from a conservative to leftist with Boric. Mexico elected a leftist. The virus is a demand and expectation for immediate gratification by voters.

No he didn't. Several violent criminals who  were defying court injunctions were held  liable for their  violation of court orders and their harassment of Canadians such as the large vehicle blockade of residentials  areas of  Ottawa and the blocking of critical roadways.  The anti public health protestors were a mixed bag of misfits. and did not have public support. On the contrary the general public wanted vehicles seized and  the  participants incarcerated, which was not done.e

The constant references to "middle class"  by politicians  is annoying. Who and what is "middle class"? It doesn't exist anymore. It is all about haves and have nots and those who are wealthier than others. It is not unusual to have the unionized auto worker in Oshawa to  own a suburban home, a boat, a cottage  and an SUV to  pull the boat. The Trudeau government reduced the tax rates for those making $140,000 and less, introduced universal child care, dental care for the elderly and those with lower incomes,  pharmaceutical supply and cost benefits for middle income and lower  citizens. The Carbon tax which some criticize does not impact the vast majority of Canadians because they recive a tax refund and/or credit.

Yes there is a housing  supply problem. Part of that is attributable to the free market approach that allowed  housing speculators to manipulate the market.  Another part is attributable to the business community which demanded the  easy entry of 5 million temporary Canadians who would do the  work Canadians are too lazy to do themselves.  Large companies have been buying up homes and residential properties and have been fixing rental prices. The enforcement of tenant protections is a provincial p[ower, as is stock market surveillance and compliance. This is why Canada is a center for financial fraud.

Housing in Canada is still more affordable than in the USA and much of  developed Europe.

Yes, there is a problem in large cities, but the cost is still competive with counterparts elsewhere.  Canada still offers some of the most affordable large cities in the world.

Mortgage downpayment varies from 5% to 10% on the  cost of the home for values of $1.5 million or less. It is easier to qualify for a mortgage in Canada because of the. government CMHC  backing.

Relatively few  health facilites on the US border service Canadian patients. Healthcare is a provincial mandate and some provinces such as Ontario and Quebec rarely allow their use. Some  provinces that have  border populations  do allow it. The same can be said for Roberts Island WA, or  some communities in Alaska which use Canadian health facilities.  US rural  healthcare facilities have staffing shortages too.

Emergency healthcare is triaged. Have a heart attack in a big city and you can literally be in the ER  within 30 minutes on on a  surgery table within the hour. Have a stroke in a rural area and you will  be airlifted to a hospital  as soon as the helicopeter arrives and  if weather permits. This can take hours. Show up at the ER with a splinter and yes you can wait 12 -24 hours.

Do you even know how the carbon tax works? it is a neutral impact on Canadian taxpayers. The Canadian dollar is not in freefall. Onthe contrary it reflects the export based economy of Canada. If it wasn't for the lower dollar, Canadian exports would not be viable. The problem in Canada is productivity and that is a  a reflection on the laziness of the Canadian workers.

The Canadian federal government has no control over the delivery of  healthcare in Canada. it is an exclusive provincial mandate. Blaming the federal government for provinical. mismanagement is unreasonable.

Cataract surgery is available at private clinics  and is paid for by most of the provincial healthcare plans. One does not need  surgery immediately as the condition develops over years. Typically the condition is monitored and then surgery is recommended. Nor do you need a referral from a family doctor for the clinics. Typically the optometrist will do the assessment. The clinics can also do the assessment.

Yes, there are waiting periods  for  procedures in Canada. In some cases it is deplorable. This is due in large part to a shortage of specialists in some regions. In other cases, it is the medical association's own strategy that restricts access  in order to ensure  specialist  incomes are  kept  high. The waiting periods in some Canadian cities  are still superior to those which many Europeans and  Americans experience.

https://www.cihi.ca/en/explore-wait-times-for-priority-procedures-across-canada

Over 60% of Canadians. benefit from private healthcare plans. These plans pay for private procedures such as MRI scans, Xrays, lab test, phyiotherapists and other specialties, dental  care and vision care offered outside the hospital system.  Average Canadians have better health care options than US  citizens and they pay less for their medications and their procedures.

One of my friends (a big donor to the hospital foundation) died in the hallway on a stretcher waiting for a room. He had been for 7 hours in the hallway without seeing a doctor. It’s a nurse who closed his eyes while walking by to go to the washroom.

A new inquiry is taking place about the MAID program (Medical Assistance In Dying). Most candidates would be people who have been severely injured by the mRNA jabs.

It seems that many people have no clue about the Canadian parliamentary system.

Trudeau did not resign, he INTENDS to resign.

So he is still leader of the Liberal Party and the PM. The Liberals have 90 days to start the process of choosing (elect) a new leader. They can drag their feet.

Also Trudeau asked the Liberal Governor-General to prorogue the Parliament until the 24th of March which means their is no dissolution possible or motion to censure the government. The parliament is « frozen ».

So Trudeau stays with his full functions as liberal leader, PM without the risk of being censored. His decision postponing any possibility of elections gives many Members of Parliament full pensions they would not have received if the government had been censored in January after the holidays break.

Like Biden is doing since November 5, 2024 this delay gives Trudeau plenty of time to cushion his exit and help his liberal buddies.

If re-elected by his constituents in the Papineau riding he may come back in politics.

Don’t trust the Canadian electorate, the next opposition party may be the socialist NDP which has been gaining seats in federal and provincial elections.

Yes there is a threat in canada. it is called arrogance and the assumption that the support of Islamic terror groups will protect them from a terrorist attack.

You can't make this sh*t up, but the  anti Israel "progressive" mayor of Mississauga with its large muslim population was ok with.  hosting a terrorist gathering, until it was exposed.

https://nationalpost.com/news/canada/islamic-conference-caliphate-shariah-law-terror-list

The one thing that Trump can and should do is to force Canada to tighten its immigration  enforcement and to start deporting violent terrorist supporters. The Trudeau government aided and enabled by the NDP,  made it easy for terrorists to set up shop in Canada. Canadians are oblivious to the presence of these people.
