Thai marriage visa question

Featured Replies

I have seen on the Siam legal website that it states a document requirement is a marriage certificate document (both versions).

I only have one a marriage certificate . So what is meant by both versions

any help would be appreciated

Where did you get married.

Thailand?

Are you planning to obtain a Non O marriage at local immigration office?

Cut/paste from ubonjoe...

"The Kor Ror 3 is your fancy marriage certificate you got from the Amphoe.

The Kor Ror 2 is the marriage registry. You or your wife can get one at any Amphoe for 20 baht. Some offices want them to be dated within 30 days of application. My wife gets a new one just before we go to apply for the extension "

You need Kor Ror 2 ( if married outside Thailand Kor Ror22) and Kor Ror 3.

You should get the Non O and subsequent annual extensions.

You can buy a multi reentry permit and go back and forth UK/Thailand with zero concerns.

Yes there is modest financial requirements for Non O and also extensions however that 400k can be used as soon as your extension is approved.

You will require a Kor Ror 2 update every year as this document is proof that you are still married and not divorced

Our Immigration required the Kor Ror 2 to be a max of one day old. Your wife can get it at any Amphur for 20 THB
