Bezos saves me money from not running to town every couple of days. . I use Amazon to save me money, if that makes Bezos rich why would i be concerned? It is sad to watch a. Guy that can't afford to move to Thailand speak on the economy or anything else.

Since when did being poor make me ignorant? Please tell me you have more than that sad insult.

There are bigger world concerns about the rise of the excessively rich and their influence on the body politic than your convenience to worry about.

The vast majority of USA citizens pay little if any income tax. and welfare seems to be to easy to get. How about a novel alternative?

Give everyone welfare, at a subsistence level. Pay income tax on EVERYTHING you earn (no tax free allowances). May seem very socialist, but if you give everyone a welfare payment, no need for massive bureaucracy too administer it. Because everyone gets welfare payment, they can afford higher income tax payments.

For those who are to lazy to work, they get just enough to survive - if they want more money, they have to work.
