Farage’s Reform UK Surges as Tory Voters Defect in Droves
You said: I'm not even a Labour supporter (card carrying Tory all my voting life), and I know that's wrong. You can rattle loads off: John Prescott; Merchant Navy steward Dennis Skinner; coal miner George Galloway; worked in the Michelin tyre factory Alan Johnson; Postie Angela Rayner; Care Worker Roy Hattersley; Stel worker Eric Varley; Iron works Eric Heffer; Joiner Tony Banks; clerk Bob Cryer; school teacher James Callaghan; Inland Revenue Clerk Betty Boothroyd; secretary Donald Dewar; Sales manager John Reid; builder, oil owrker, door to door insurance salesman Not forgetting those MPs from very modest backgrounds such as John McConnell, Neil Kinnock, Claire Short, Frank Field -

Ex-PM Abhisit Warns Legal Casinos Could Harm Thai Society
Did he say that? He is addressing a very important factor, that the Thai people likes to gamble too much, and therefore it might become a financial problem for many families. The sad thing is that he is right. On the other hand, I am positive to legal casinos, as it must come in as a learning curve for people. The government can not continue to overprotect the citizens. They must learn to take sensible decisions. However, that will take time, and during that time many will suffer. -

Thaksin Delays Yingluck's Homecoming: Return to Thailand Uncertain
I would doubt if any country could be any worse to it's expats than Thailand. Many decent people who have taken Thai families out of poverty and made great contributions to the Thai economy and still being treated like a criminal having to do these ridiculous 90 day reports. -

Visa Exemption to Visa question
Hi everyone, a few months ago I posted that we were not able to extend my dad's retirement visa because we touched the money after extension. So, we were able to do a border bounce at Chiang Kong and comeback with visa exemption stamp. Having collected all the documents as if I was extending retirement visa, we went to Phayao immigration. After all the checks they stamped something and asked to comeback in a month, we did, and we got another stamp which I posted here the photo. Only this one is until March 15 now, I am a bit puzzled why it is not a year. The staff was as usual not friendly or helpful. She said this is not a visa yet, but it seems like it is. 1.. I asked does my dad need to do 90 days, she said NO. 2. Most important question I asked, what documents do I need to bring next time, she said I will tell you later. Can someone please explain what is that stamp and how is it going to work next time? What documents will we need next time? Very puzzled, I really want to start doing it soon as next month I am planning to go travel. Thank you for your help.
