As you say, It was packed with family groups because Safari World is a family type tourist offering. The mass sexpat market won’t go there nor will the alcoholics. They are all in the go go’s and bars.

In the "Family Friendly" destination?

Again, you are completely wrong dear Scottie. Most developed nations downplay, or downright hide crime commited by their immigrants. All part of the politically correct to-not-offend policies. In Thailand it is 100% opposite.

Rubbish. We’re talking about tourists , not immigrants !! I’d say a good percentage of the troublemakers here are foreigners. Russian thugs, bitcoiners, Chinese call centers and the usual obnoxious drunks and drugged fools that walk the streets. Many from western countries.
I live in a busy tourist area of France, and I can promise you that the few tourists causing trouble are quickly dealt with. The problem is, Thailand seems to attracts the worse of the human race.   And of course, it’s mainly of their own making.  I agree with many here, deport the trouble makers / thieves/ scammers and dealers.

The move follows troubling incidents, notably in Pai, Mae Hong Son, where local businesses recently refused service to Israeli nationals. This decision arose after reports of inappropriate behaviour by some Israeli tourists, who allegedly verbally abused medical staff and threatened property damage at a local hospital.

I can't wait for Israel to call the Thai government "antisemitic."  That would be entertaining.

If the shoe fits, but technically, Thai's are just "antifarang".

By creating artificial outrage against foreigners, one can easily turn a blind eye to the crime committed by fellow countrymen in one's own country:coffee1:

Well waddaya know eh? Sound familiar? Seen it somewhere else as well?

Haha, aren't they always...with the sheer volume it will never be any other way.

Wonder which nation they will target next after China and India with free visas and Thailnd adverts...the multi-headed hydra that is the Thai Govt...always out of lockstep with itself.

Wonder how long it will be before the expat tax gets repealed.

Canny old white men are good at holding on  to their money..I should know

I'm always the first one to offer to buy the other person something in Thailand.

I repeat if you did not understand my point: I have noticed places that was free for these drug tourists, are now their new playground for their drug party holidays. Kids and also elderly who seeks out these arenas, used to stay in jungle parties in Laos, now they seek out new territories in Thailand who now made it possible for the drug business to establish themselves new pristine places.

I have travelled more than 20 years to these places and know what I'm talking about.

Perhaps, but as someone who has lived here, in Thailand attending and even promoting parties in the late 90s until the mid-2000s and the war on drugs, I understand your point, I just disagree.   Things today are much more commercial and controlled. What we got away with then just doesn't happen now,

We used to throw parties after and around the full moon, like the backyard when we would head out to watch the morning carnage before heading up into the Hadrin hills to dance the day away. Guys and Eden came a bit later -- they are still going fridays and saturdays, Eden opens when guys closes

We also used to throw parties in selected resorts around Thailand, predominantly for a mixed crowd Thai professionals and expats, renting small isolated entire resorts for a weekend and bringing sound systems and crew to fill the rooms.

one party actually took place at Angkor Wat, a very clandestine and special event I have never heard repeated. That <deleted> just couldn't happen now. There was a very vibrant interconnected scene between Jakarta (stadium), Phnom Penh, Bangkok, and the islands

That's true  we are not welcome here because some people come to LOS to do illegal and sometimes criminal activities. Then the tourists, many of them have neither respect nor education so because of these individuals we are all involved.

If they want pure social harmony then they have to give up the tourist money.

Lets face it, the government want (need) the money.

With mass tourism comes certain issues which you simply have to deal with - or ban them all from coming.

It's a trade off

Correct. If you bring in more people there will be proportionately more ɑsshoIes. It's built into the math. Hopefully they will move the midpoint needle and tip the scales enough to serve both sides of the issue. The locals are not making good money off the Israelis because Israelis are not the big tourist spenders that Thailand wants or needs. I think it's clear to everyone including the police and immigration that they are not worth the trouble. It sounds like  certain groups may end up with a target on their backs the moment they arrive, which I'm fine with, no doubt others would be fine with it. This is total speculation on my part, I don't in any way actually claim to know what I'm talking about. Basically, it sounds like the Israelis may be specifically targeted for "enhanced surveillance". Then immigration may be pre-primed to expedite deportation if necessary. That's the way I would do it. Memos to all immigration checkpoints: flag all Israeli passports the moment they set foot here. Enhanced security, enhanced surveillance from entry to departure. It could be done entirely within the database and system with minimal extra cost or effort. It would be sad if hotels and hostels started to refuse Israelis accommodation when their passports were presented because they were flagged. If motorbikes were not rented without valid drivers licenses. If police memos were sent to motorbike rentals telling them that valid motorbike licenses must be produced. Real sad.

All this is due to four Israeli‘s that were a drunk or high acting improperly in the hospital and now it’s like you had the police up there the head cops they have the Prime Minister then the ministers are going up there they want the money but if there’s any little disturbance or headache now they want to come down and everybody TIT

Not in the U.S.A.. The U.S. news media makes huge efforts not report criminals' ethnicity if it is an illegal immigrant(s) who commits the crime.

Whatever you do don't focus on corrupt police within your ranks, don't focus on corrupt immigration officers, don't focus on corrupt Customs officers, nor corrupt officials within the amphor, the state government and the Federal Government. And leave the local mafia's alone.

Focus on foreigners, we are the bad people, we are the ones creating all the chaos, and causing the moral fabric of Thailand to disintegrate sand unravel.
