Do they know what a "Round Trip" means?

New routes are a decent thing to have, but Thailand absolutely has to get its act together and create some high-speed ways to move people around.

There should be High-Speed Rail from Bangkok to Hua Hin, which there is not.

There should be commuter flights from Bangkok to Hua Hin Airport, which there is not.

There should be flights from Hua Hin airport to Pattaya, which there is not, since Hua Hin airport is one of the least utilized airports in all of Southeast Asia.

This hapless administration has to at least make an attempt to get their act together, and they need to stop pretending that they are competent and that they are representing the Thai people. They are not competent, and they are not representing anyone here in Thailand, other than their own self-interests, and the interests of the elites. Period.

The current situation with Rama II a decade behind schedule, and moving at a snail's pace is an absolute abomination and a boil on the face of Thailand.

Note how they quote a 5 hour journey time.

This appears to be a new service and not the existing one on that website. The initial picture is from the existing service in hua h in near the airport.
a later post says petkasem 96 to 96/1 where there is some bus service already. We need a booking link.

Hua hin to suvarnabhumi on the existing service is ,mostly 3.5 hours except when hitting rush hour traffic when it can be an extra hour or more. (hence the 5 hours)

Does the Pattaya bus go to Jomtien?

This new service does not state that, the post states Hua Hin -DMK , DMK- pattaya. Suvarnabhumi - Pattaya.

The existing service that does hua hin to suvarnabhumi and pattaya also goes to Jomtien.

There is planned to be, but when is a big guess. Current schedule start about 2030, likely to be later, then about 5 years for construction.

Personally i don't think its necessary. Just as quick get on the airport bus. Main problem is whether there are delays on Rama II. Mainly rush hour and peak transport times.
I always avoid certain times and rarely get much more than 3.5 hours

I agree, but i would expect it to be u-tapao. Still would save a lot of time.

They have been promising  for years to upgrade hua hin airport  with more destinations than just Chiang Mai. Recently repeated again, but yet to see any action

Justified comments, mine added above in italics.

These days I will only drive into Bangkok if it's after 10:00 p.m. And I will only leave Bangkok prior to 5:30 a.m. That's how bad I found traffic to be on Rama II, getting in and out of Bangkok. I just will not take a chance of being in traffic for 2 hours or more to go 10 or 15 km, which has happened to me on multiple occasions.

I do consider the lack of high-speed transport options to be an abomination, and highly representative of the level of sloth that Thailand has experienced on a governmental level for the past 30 or 40 years.

Not really, but they are lucky we are so much more cleverer than them.
