The Russian was in the room at the time the Thai man robbed the suitcase. Fiqures  he must know the thief.

Maybe he was in the shower, or asleep. Ladyboys sometimes hide under the bed.

There was a story, years ago in a  Pattaya hotel , of a corpse "hiding" under the bed.

The new guests were unable to sleep because of the stench in the room, and found the source of the stench right under them.

It's Pattaya, anything is possible.

Article states he was robbed by a Thai man. Could’ve been one of those males wearing women’s clothing and make up. Lady boy not mentioned for the sake of Pattaya’s pristine image as a family frie

I guess it all comes down to the standards of the hotel and honesty of the staff.

... and more likely who you take home with you from where ...

The Russian was having good old gay time and unbeknowst to him fate turned on him.  Situation completely out of his control. How do I can contact the  GoFundMe for Russians? I want to donate.

In a hotel and nobody has pictures of him, smells a bit fishy to me, but it does make a change because normally it's 300000 worth of gold necklace

In the early Thailand days, there weren't safes in the rooms, the choice was using one behind reception, or an envelope in the hotel safe. In the latter case, we had a lot of missing items in  the morning, one being the night shift receptionist. I have recollections of a locked bag in a locked suitcase, secured to an immovable object with a computer cable lock! The Lek Hotel had safes with some fancy magnetic key, but you needed to hide that before fun and games and passing out!

Russians cannot have Visa or MasterCard unless they open accounts outside of the country, so most of them carry cash and keep that in their suitcases. I know older generations even sew it on inside their underwear. Lol

More than 40 years ago, I was taught No Valuables and Large Amount of Money in a suitcase.

Keep them all with me while in the unfamiliar places.

Suite case is nothing like a Safe Storage Space...

We never get the full S.P.

What was the money doing in his suitcase.

Who knew it was their. (and how they knew).

If we were told this the rest would be a little more obvious without playing the guessing game.

Ahh  it's good for us, keeps the imagination going lol.

Must have been so much money it wouldn't fit in the safe
