New screen for a Samsung tablet in Bangkok, maybe Fortune Town?

Featured Replies

The screen of the Samsung tablet of my gf is a little broken. I found replacement screens online for about 700B. I guess I could do it myself, but there are others who do this all day and not expensive.

Do you have any experiment with a shop replacing such screen somewhere in Bangkok, maybe Fortune Town?

Or is it the easiest just to go there and ask?

Can you recommend a shop?

Does Samsung do these repairs as well? Or only 3rd party shops?

Obviously, it should not be more expensive than necessary. But if a 3rd party shop would charge 1000B and Samsung 1500 then I would probably prefer Samsung.

Why not call Samsung Service and get it straight from the horses mouth?

I just tried. It's difficult.

They had those press 1 for this and 2 for that with lots of options but none of them made sense for my case.

I found their service centers nearby and I guess it's easiest if I just go there.

Yeah, I have had screens replaced before (phone, not tablet) and got it done at the service centre in MBK. I don't remember the price but thought it was reasonable at the time for what it was (it was a curved screen so not cheap). Service was good.
