snoop1130 Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Picture courtesy of Cision News Norse Atlantic Airways is set to launch an exciting new direct route between London Gatwick and Bangkok, offering passengers an affordable escape to warmth and adventure. This new service is scheduled to begin on Sunday, 26 October 2025, operating up to four times a week with return fares starting at a competitive £295, inclusive of taxes. The launch of the Bangkok route comes as the airline announces the end of its London Gatwick-Miami service, concluding with a final flight on 25 October 2025 due to low demand. Bjørn Tore Larsen, CEO and Founder, expressed the airline's excitement about the new Asian route, emphasising its popularity among travellers and commitment to cost-effective, comfortable travel. In a move reflecting its strategic emphasis on the Asian market, Norse Atlantic will also double its flight frequencies from Stockholm Arlanda and Oslo to Bangkok by December 2025. This expansion builds on their existing services out of London Gatwick, which connects to destinations in the US and South Africa. Additionally, starting March 2025, Norse Atlantic will enter a wet lease arrangement with India’s IndiGo airline for long-haul operations. This highlights Norse Atlantic’s growth in third-party flying, encompassing aircraft leasing, crew, and maintenance services. With these developments, Norse Atlantic Airways is poised to offer increased travel options and competitive pricing, promising enhanced value for passengers seeking new horizons, reported The Thaiger. -- 2025-02-24 2
Tropicalevo Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Whilst that price is probably a limited opening offer, there should be quite a few takers.
soi3eddie Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Just did a test booking for November 2025. Return in economy classic was just £499. Pretty good fare (and sensible departure/arrival times too). Even cheaper if not taking any checked baggage. Brace for the influx of "quality tourists" 🙂 Flights are only 3 days per week as presently available. Thats still about 1,000 passengers per week.
Nick Carter icp Posted February 24 Posted February 24 Was looking with flying with them last year , but KLM were cheaper . Also heard Norse were in a lot of debt and could go bankrupt soon 1

Yes it may be out of business before the next high season for the S.E Asian market. So buyers beware.

Look at the bit I circled in red on your screenshot when I re-posted it. It couldn't be clearer and says "British Airways". The 21:25 departure is the BA timing. Norse will depart LGW at 16:00. 1

Of course not 1
SMIAI Posted Wednesday at 05:13 AM Posted Wednesday at 05:13 AM @Chivas It's for British Airways. Stop arguing senselessly when the evidence is before your eyes. Your screenshot is not from the Norse Atlantic Airways website. I don't know why you would try to mislead that it did. if you go to https://flynorse.com/en-GB/book/flights you will find their flight leaves at 1600 hrs from LGW and 1230 hrs from BKK. I found flights from the 26th of October. Cheaper O/W flights in November and December. From £331. Other way, from £298. 1
HauptmannUK Posted Thursday at 10:08 PM Posted Thursday at 10:08 PM Have travelled with Norse on a route to the US I wouldn't fly with them for free! Dreadful service. Outbound flight was delayed by 8 hours - no information, food etc. Return flight was cancelled 45 minutes before boarding time and was offered another flight 4 days later! No assistance Of any kind. Had to get another flight at great cost.
