Why do I get the feeling you are only outraged when it comes to the orange fella? The US's big mistake was fomenting the 2014 coup and destabilization of the country, compounded by corrupt politicians like Biden essentially running the country for profit. Now it's suddenly all Trump's fault? Jog on. I was in the British Army for a long time. I served in several campaigns, the last two were "American led", and which both essentially ended in "cluster<deleted>s" when the Yanks cut and ran. The "trademark move", since Vietnam and Cambodia in the early 1970s and repeatedly since is to abandon your allies. 1 2

Autocan Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago This is intolerable. The war must go on. If the US admin won't then we the people must step up. Russians have fought successfully with spare parts, so can the Ukrainians. I have a broken washing machine, a vintage TV and two pedestal fans in the store room. I am going to pack and ship them to Kiev. Ukrainians are just as ingenious as the Russians. They'll be able to strip them down and make tanks and planes. I urge all AN readers to look for any old stuff they can spare. We can't let Ukraine down. 1 1
Chomper Higgot Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago So that’s the second message of support for Putin in a matter of days. The first put US allies (well most of them) on notice that the US cannot be relied upon when attacked by an enemy. The second confirmed the first but added the notification for now former US allies not to build their military systems with U.S. supplied weapons or ammunition. 1 1 1

Shame on you. What I found appalling was Victoria Nuland and the US spearheading a coup in 2014 to bring in their puppet of choice after the citizens voted for someone the US didn't like. 1 1

The point is to force Zelenskyy to negotiate a deal for rare minerals and move to ceasefire negotiations. This will come with security guarantees from the US. Reality is Ukraine cannot win this war of attrition and continues to lose ground. The territory held by Ukraine in the Kursk Oblast is now a lot less than it was a month ago. As for Putin wanting a total defeat of Ukraine this is simply not the case. 1 2 1

He will take all land east of the Dniepr plus Odesa, leaving the rest of Ukraine about as potent as a post-op ladyboy. This is Putin's goal, to annex the historically Russian territories at the same time making sure that Ukraine is never again a military threat. He has zero interest in ruling over ethnic Ukrainians, let alone any of Europe. 1 1 1

In fact, the children of Ukrainian elite were sent safely outside the country as soon as hostilities broke out. There are whole channels on Telegram showing their lifestyle in Mediterranean resorts. A particularly hilarious clip is when Mayor Klitschko of Kiev was asked about pics of his kids partying in Berlin. "My zons are German zitizens, zey cannot fight for Ukraine." 1 1
