What's far more important is that he is grossly avaricious, a bully, a braggart and a 'show off' who never seems to think things through, before he postulates or indeed, signs an 'Executive Order'. He's the 'bull in the china shop' for sure.

 

His all-round weakness and stupidity is very dangerous, even for the most avid Republicans in the USA, who in time, will also suffer under his madness.

 

It is heartbreaking to see his treatment of Ukraine. Having apparently curtailed Ukraine's ability to attack he now seems busy now, taking away much of their ability to defend. Cruelty in the extreme . . .

 

As for his favourite word, 'tariff', as someone said, that's just a dumb way forward, as we are already seeing.

 

How anyone ever contemplated voting for him defies belief. AIMHO

There was no ambush. It was supposed to be a signing ceremony and a photo-op and both Trump and Vance were quite cordial for the first forty minutes or so of Zelensky talking over Trump, and things did not go off the rails until the last few minutes (perhaps the only part you saw) after Zelensky effectively threatened the US. 

I sometimes do wonder if we're living in a Matrix style simulated reality because many folk in the United States seems to be experiencing a different reality feed from the rest of us.
