My friends arrive from the UK this Saturday 22nd March and leave Monday 21st April.

They now realise that is 31 not 30 days.

They are in Pattaya a week before they leave and I believe they can extend here in Pattaya.

Is that correct?

 

Of course it will be Songran then and I suspect everything will be shut.

 

I would appreciate your advice

Don't they get 60 days?

They seem to think it is 30 days - I have no idea as it seemed to change a lot during and just after covid. When I Googled it today it did seem to imply 30 days.

 

Friends just got 60 days, local visa run company offing '60 day border bounce'

I am from OZ I get 60 days

Unless they're from a couple of Asian countries, no one gets 30 days anymore.  It's 60 days for visa exempt since July 2024.

I just booked a trip to LOS I got 60 days 

I have just checked on the UK Embassy site and you are right - it is 60 days. I have sent the link to them - thanks for your help.

Visa exempt for UK passport is 60 days.

Double check the stamp. Will have an "admitted till" date.
