That does not mean that I support the haters with their obsessive bleating about him. I still support his domestic policies ie illegal immigration, rejection of MMCC, destruction of DEI and stabbing woke in the heart. Sadly Trump has lost the plot on things overseas, with his use of force in the M E and the threats against Iran etc.

I had high hopes that Trump the negotiator would bring an end to the endless American wars in the M E, but I see that Trump has gone, and he's become just another US warmonger flailing around in the M E, bringing death and destruction.

 

We live in sad days in the end times of western civilization. It was good while it lasted, and I had the best of it, but everything ends.

It's probably a mistake to try to make much sense of what goes on in the Middle East.  I gave up long ago.  

 

As for Trump's support of Israel?  Blame Rubio and the Neocons.  Blame the Israeli lobby, which apparently controls US foreign policy.  

 

Unfortunately for us all, it's not the Ukraine situation that will likely end civilization, it will be the situation in the Middle East. 

 

Perhaps Trump has made a deal with Putin about Iran and its nuclear program?  Putin gets his way in Ukraine ad the USA can bomb Iran into submission.  A win for Putin and a win for Trump.  Just speculation on my part, but it sort of makes sense.  Peace in the world, for a change.
